Ebukam is a guy to keep your eye on...he was part of an excellent front in LA, but he'll get featured more with the Niners. He's got great speed, so Bosa will hopefully have a legit threat on the opposite side from him. He'll no doubt get stronger while a Niner, who're hoping his development would be worth a longer contract in a couple of seasons. I feel very good about this guy making his mark as a Niner.

Agree, i think returning to the 4-3 where he initially played and did really well will help him here. With the rams he was good but nothing special in the 3-4. Coach K will have him showing his original "stuff" in the 4-3 and like you, think Ebuk will have a big yr. Besides, if 97 is on R edge and Kin is just inside him there very well maybe 5-6 guys trying to block those two making our L side really get home. At least i hope

I'm going to go on record and say we may have found our long term EDGE opposite Nick Bosa in Samson Ebukam. I think being in a new scheme, and a change of scenery will really help him.

I won't go that far in terms of predicting the long term but I do think he is currently the most underrated player on the team and will have the so called "breakout year" this season.

I'll sign onto that. I just see him as the perfect fit, and he gets to go back to where he brot thunder…the 4-3. I think he was misused at Rams. Still , we need to see him play, but i have really high hopes for Ebuk.

I hope the outcome is similar to Shaq Barrett...played out of position with a bad scheme fit then changed teams and blossomed

I'm not expecting 19.5 sacks but 8-12 is a realistic goal IMO

A healthy Bosa + Kinlaw are going to wreck havoc on that line and draw all the attention.

It will never be easier for Ebukam.

You think? Man most of what I've seen is effort & coverage sacks/pressures. I think he's got a great motor (given he's only gotten like 20 snaps a game so far) and I love the athletic profile…hopefully he figure out a pass rush plan.

liked the signing, wish we would have done more though.

325 pounds on a squat for an NFL athlete is ok.

Lol
770 with ease is pretty impressive..... For any human let alone athlete!
If I like that they just want him to attack and not worry about reading.

I think it shows a confidence in our linebacking corps at least.

It will be interesting to see if the run defense numbers stay solid, when the pass rush is dominating and the opposing offense shifts to running the ball to try to cool the heat.

Won't be able to run against Hurst, Kerr, AA and Kinlaw
