He had a really good end of the season between the last few games of the regular season and the PO. Lot of pressures.
That being said I´m not a fan of him being heavier even if it´s muscles. I liked the fact that he was the speed rusher of the team.

Hmmm, not sure how I feel about this. Ebukam was already a pretty strong dude at his previous size, and I'm not sure his frame could handle 15 more lbs without seriously sacrificing his great athleticism. That said, he is primarily a power rusher, so maybe he wants to hone in on that. But I think he should be focusing on improving his hands and applying a plan more than getting bigger. I'd say the overwhelming majority of his wins are from pure effort and tenacity. He needs to improve on winning much cleaner at the POA.

Nice, I really like Ebukam, glad we're keeping him, maybe extend him on a short team friendly deal, save some cap room too, same with Ward and Moseley.

Almost 4 pressures a game over the last half of the season that is sick!

I'm not so sure we would extend Moseley because I think we have plans for Thomas to take over his spot after next year. I'm almost sure we won't be able to pay him close to 8-10 million which is probably what he's looking for.

Even though we don't have that official "go to guy" across from Bosa I really like the depth and sum of its parts thing we have going on here at edge. Health dependent of course Bosa will be a double digit sack guy again and Ebukam, Hyder, and Turay all have the ability to chip in 6-8 sacks a piece.

And towards the end, didn't he play far more early downs...really nice edge setter? Maybe the added weight is to solidify that role with others taking over the speed rush downs.
His cap number and potential savings if cut means he might be the odd man out of our rotation, especially if we draft an EDGE high.

Yeah, not sure the 49ers want to give Moseley what he'll likely want, if they could get him now for what he's making($4.692M a yr) or close to $6M a yr, they'd likely do it, but he likely, and is smart, to wait, bet on himself, likely get a deal in Charvarius Ward's range.

I think they are waiting until after the draft to decide if they want to extend Eman. They also might want to see how Thomas keeps developing. If they draft a nickel corner(Marcus Jones) and Thomas keeps getting better, There is no need to give Eman like $8-10 Million a year as a depth piece. It might be similar to Ebukam also, If we draft another outside Edge guy to out opposite Bosa(A speed guy) there will be no need to pay Ebukam starter money as a depth guy. With all the money our elite guys will be making they got to make sure not to spend alot on depth pieces.

Agreed. We have the ability to keep the heat coming all games from the edges. Jordan Willis could provide 3 or 4 also.

It is with the above in mind that i find it hard to believe we take Edge at #61. Ebuk, Hyder & Turay WITH Nicky B…that couldn't help but give an opposing OC and QB stomach ulcers the nite before game. Looking at that lineup, it is hard not to imagine a very long look at OG or OG/C being our 1st pick.

As posted before, if a #1 stud like Bosa is sitting there at #61, sure, I'd take him. But odds on that…at #61? No way in heck that happens.

Yeah, I believe we do a combo of best player available and need so our first pick is either going to be a center or safety. I do want that nickel corner Jones and I'm not too sure he will be there with our third round pick but I really hope so. He's great on special teams as well. I would be OK drafting a safety or center with our first pick and I want Jones with our second pick even if we have to trade up a little to get him
So we took an edge anyway lol. And Ebukam has a high cap number. Of course they can adjust that at some point (we need space). But does anyone think he is a trade candidate?

We have Bosa, Jackson, Willis, Hyder, Turray, and Ebukam. I know you can never have enough edge guys but does anyone keep 6 edge rushers?
