1) this is the Sherfield thread. I don't know what Hurd has to do with him other than they both play WR.

2) preseason, for the most part, is about reps, implementating new technique, and cleaning stuff up prior to the season.

3) For those that are fighting for a roster sport it means the whole world.

people like sherfield deserve a spot because of how hard he has fought and how well he has done so far. others do not deserve it. i know what thread this is.. but i also hope webster makes it

Trent has definitely earned a roster spot. He's been the most reliable WR this offseason. Like I said, hopefully he can carry that into the regular season.

The team does a nice job with under the radar free agent guys. of all of the things i can and will fret about.. i think. back up wide outs behind deebo and brandon are not one of them
I wouldn't mind having him return punts or kickoffs once in awhile also. We have some guys on the roster that can do that which is why I don't want to use a roster spot on a guy who is just there to return kicks. Thomas, Mitchell, Sherfield, and Aiyuk can all probally do it. If we are going to use our last WR spot on a special teams returner he better be damn good at it.

BAD IDEA.. he's not a returner, don't we have the guy from the Rams??
He looks like Antonio Brown out there with the high socks and wristband. Hopefully he plays as good as him in the regular season.

Looks like an absolute upgrade over Bourne. Especially considering the cap hit

Yeah the only spot i thought borne was decent in was inside the 10. He was probably our best redzone receiver for whatever reason. Beyond that, he was mostly a waste but considering he was an UDFA you have to say that he did insanely well for himself. I'm glad he got paid even though i don't think he's worth what he got. He was a team player here and did as asked
I am beginning to think that Mohamed Sanu may be the odd man out. He's 32 and if one of Hurd, Jennings and Sanu have to go it might be him. We have heard good things about him but what have we actually seen?

Some guys are good at getting open but don't have the acceleration to pull away on deeper routes.
Apparently Larry Fitzgerald kept telling the Cardinals to get Sherfield more involved in the offense, and that he had a ton of potential, but they didn't listen.
