Randy Moss

Moss and Sherman both played roles in going 0-2 in the teams latest Super Bowls.

They should've thrown to Moss instead of Crabtree on the final play.

no. they should handed it off to Frank. every. single. time.

BINGO!

but DUMB KAEP wanted to be a hero by throwing for a TD pass instead of an easier draw play to GORE !!!

I really don't understand why they didn't give it to Frank the Tank.
moving to the now instead of 2012....aka back to Trent Sherfield, he is WR3 and if when Deebo gets hurt he will be an awesome WR2.

Well, camp body then. Outside of that I cannot see where he fits.

Good thing they signed this guy during the first wave of free agency. I'm sure he was in high demand and they couldn't wait any longer.

Personally I kind of hope a team wants Sherfield, and we trade him away for like a 7th round pick in a couple years, or just trade him for a guy with no guaranteed money that we can cut come cut down day and not take a cap hit. Sherfield was brought in to be a back end WR, but mainly to help on ST. We drafted a few guys who will be backups at different positions, yet help on ST. I want Sherfield gone, so it's that much easier for Watkins or Jennings to be our 5th WR, and the loser of that battle goes to the PS.

I am fine with a WR corp. of Samuel-Aiyuk-James-Hurd-Watkins/Jennings. There's going to be a roster crunch, and back end WR's are out there in droves like Sanu Benjamin many others. Those types of guys I would put on my PS probably only 1 or 2, most likely 2 if we keep 5 WR's on the 53.

Hmm, these really aged well, huh?
I like Sherfield's hands. I think his are the surest in our WR corps. We need guys like this as Trey assumes more and more of the snaps.

FYI from what I've seen, when Trey is out there, he isn't #3. More like 1.5👍

agreed. That just comes from the time they've spent together on the "2's" Chemistry is real.

Half those guys are Troll 4 Life lol. As soon as the 9ers acquired him I leaned more towards him being in the team.
dont think anyone saw this coming, he was signed to be a special teams ace now he is a valued receiver

Turned into baby Boldin. Same number, same body type, same reliable hands.
Sherfield's profile going back to the draft. It's easy to see what the 49ers liked(ie speed, agility and explosiveness).

A nice surprise FA signing from the FO. Don't think they even realized what they got in Sherfield. Can't wait til regular season games.

This signing makes up for the Kitty Kitty debacle

WR RAS Table

Pettis 8.04
Sherfield 8.97
Wearing that #81, with those muscles....mini TO! I have high hopes for this guy.
Curious to see what he brings. So many eyes on the 3 and 4 receiver spot.
