Hmm, these really aged well, huh?

Half those guys are Troll 4 Life lol. As soon as the 9ers acquired him I leaned more towards him being in the team.

That has nothing to do with them being "trolls". 340 yards and 1 TD in 3 seasons says the chances of those guys being right were pretty high.

Glad he might be a Diamond in the Rough though.

Sherfield's profile going back to the draft. It's easy to see what the 49ers liked(ie speed, agility and explosiveness).

Definite surprise of camp.
WR1
LOL @ cardinals having such a hard-on for sending out the corpse of Larry Fitzgerald that they let us grab this guy.

dont think anyone saw this coming, he was signed to be a special teams ace now he is a valued receiver

Turned into baby Boldin. Same number, same body type, same reliable hands.

Not even close. Only Deebo has that kind of muscle and physicality.

Boldin showcased it in actual NFL games too, from day 1

Thoughts??
"Trent is what every coach dreams of in a player. a man who is immensely talented and has the desire to improve in every facet of his game," Fitzgerald began in an email exchange Sunday. "He wants to be coached hard daily and held accountable. Trent doesn't point fingers or make excuses for anything. When he makes a mistake which is rare he learns from it and that same mistakes doesn't happen again.

"He knows every single position and is willing and able to play all of them at anytime," Fitzgerald continued. "His selflessness shows up daily, if it's picking up a fellow teammates plate in the lunchroom, running a decoy route in practice on scout team or helping raise and mentor his little brother living with him and his wife during the season.

"He never once complained about the lack of opportunities (with the Cardinals). He was only committed to improving and not allowing the things he didn't control to chip away at him mentally.

The complete opposite of Dante Pettis.

Sounds like a great #2 receiver, in the John Taylor type mentally. I like him already so I hope he's more than that. But will be happy if he can put up what he had been in the preseason.

Shanahan implied this dude, a UDFA special teams player cut by the AZ Cardinals, outplayed first-round-pick Aiyuk in camp. f**king nuts.

Either the 49ers have a major problem with or Aiyuk or they found the WR version of Raheem Mostert.

I mean, he clearly outplayed Aiyuk in the preseason, too, then played well in the W1 victory.
