I have hopes for travis benjamin but it is a concern not to have a real solid number three or someone better than bourne.. i fully expect the team to get a nice rookie and as you said. maybe there is still a gem out there in free agency. i just do not think sus deserved to be ganged up on when he mentioned a concern about depth behind two guys who were both hurt last year

CC don't worry about Susweel - the dude thinks flame wars is just a nice warm summer walk in the park. I feel more concerned for the folks that fall into his traps.

Having said that, I think Sus does point out things most fans don't consider and I appreciate that part of his posts.

Great signing more scrubs.

Are you unhappy with the job Lynch is doing in this free agent period or just complaining like usual.

What has he done to improve the team?

Have you been sleeping too much the last couple of days?

That's one less draft pick that we need to use on a gunner in special teams and now we can go 6th round RB.

Probably get a thousand yard guy with a 6th rounder based on how Kyle's undrafted RBs turn out
So this is a camp body lol?
Hes made a few insane catches. lets see what he can do.

Sus being Sus, can't give Lynch props for getting Juice, Verrett, Trent, Jones, Moseley back, and adding Mack & Ebukam, and again this dude was supposed to be a RFA, not tendered, likely a non GTD 1yr $920K deal, you need cap bodies, can't have 90 all pro's.

with all due respect. the good job lynch did with those guys has nothing to do with sus voicing a concern about wide out depth. sheesh. you can not even voice a concern without posters getting all lynch defensive

And who would you have signed? Will Fuller who got a 1yr $10M deal? Guys out there getting overpaid, like I said, last year people called Hyder a bum, then he gets 8.5 sacks, then people want him back, now we sign another guy who isn't a big name, and bam he's a bum, it's the same s**t from Sus every year, he trolls and trolls, he whines and whines, no wonder people call us the Forty Whiners, people like him b***h, moan, complain about everything little thing that happens. It's only the 2nd official day of FA, so they signed a guy for the minimum, maybe AZ didn't use him right. He could be a steal, you never know. And I'm so tired of people every year saying "lets sign that big name" "or that big name" "or oohhh him" cause they're household names, guess what, they weren't household names before that, they were likely written off at one point in their career, either HS, College or Pros, give this kid a chance to prove himself, I'm just tired of people moaning all the time, you can't fix every hole or issue in 1 offseason, Lynch has built a contender, yes Deebo & Aiyuk are the only WRs right now that look like legit guys, but give Sherfield, Hurd, Jennings, James, etc... chances, they'll draft someone, I know some want JuJu, but he's got character issues from what's been said on NFLN as to why he wasn't tagged or brought back, never developed into the #1 WR. I'd rather invest draft picks into young guys than sign guys to overpaid contracts, something people like Sus complain about, but when we don't spend, he complains anyway, I'm so f**king annoyed by people like him.
Well one thing is for sure, if this dude makes the team he is gonna need a new jersey number than the one he had in Arizona

I'm not counting on him to make the team. Unless he balls out on special teams.

He said no problem as long as he can get #80.
This signing obviously means Rosen will be taking us to #6 since they're familiar with each other.
Apparently alot of Cardinal fans hate this. Says he was a very good special teams player and don't know why the Cards didn't keep him. From reading how Cardinal fans view him they don't mention him as a WR at all. Just a punt returner. So I am guessing that's what Lynch and Kyle got him for. To return punts and kickoffs since we have nobody good who can do that, Unless we use Aiyuk and I don't think Kyle wants to do that.

Thank you for the insight. I don't know too much about other teams, I usually focus on our team. Special teams is an important part of the game, for sure. We need another Mostert on the special teams since Mostert's moved on to be starter at RB. Just looking at his scouting profile, he has good speed to be on special teams, and his a much bigger body than when he came into the league (I think 208 lbs) back in 2018. Might be a possible red zone WR to Replace Kendrick Bourne.

Agree. I look for Kyle to make a killing in getting players on offense in the undrafted part of the draft - since he has a unique system and he knows specifically what players will work in his system. I don't know how he found Jeff Wilson, but the guy is averaging 4.8 yards per carry. In my uneducated eye, that looks like first round production to me - and this is from an undrafted guy.

The 49ers do a very good job of evaluating undrafted players and targeting players that fit their system.
