Hehehe, Moon, believe it or not you're one of my favs in here because you never fail to entertain the F out of me. Don't get me wrong, I know you're knowledgeable on football / history (even much more than me), but some of your takes got me rolling like a MF
The diff is when those HOF's got their chance, they didn't fail to capitalize and take control of their destiny...
Rosen is like a pretty flower that wilted before it was even delivered to the woman it was intended to be delivered to

ok, " like a MF" are you aware that the teams that let Rosen go drafted QBs that the new coach (Arizona) and owner (Miami) wanted.. How can Rosen compete w/them?
Rosen got dissed for sure, I can't argue that. I do hope he gets a chance to at least show his worth in camp / preseason and I would flip my wig if he came out on top of everyone (not gonna happen), we'll see... I do wish him best of luck tho.

'... AND that's all we want, and he wants.. .. we need to keep THE BEST PLAYERS on the team... knowing Shanny tho, he's going to make it easiest for his new QB to get to the starting line up...
... but that's his choice, as long as he does his (Shanny) job to keep the best players..
