MLB Tre Lamar left early after 2017 season. Went from Butkus Award finalist to being undrafted. Might be who you're thinking of there not sure. Lamar screwed himself out of going 15-0 and the natty in 2018. Would have feasted playing behind that defensive line with Ferrell/Wilkins/Lawrence/Bryant.

Great signing. Felt like we were going to be forced to spend a late round pick at RB, and can use it else where now or as fodder to move up. and WG is a player. Legit 2nd back. He'll get burn this year.

1yr vet minimum deal, $990K, only counts $850K, no GTD money at all, crazy.

Shanahan, the king of the bargain bin RBs. Gallman is now the highest (and only) draftee among the group.

Lots of players signing one year deals. Because of the COVID havoc that played on the salary cap. They are betting on playing on the right team will bring them more money later. Especially in 2023 when the new TV deal kicks in and maybe things go back to normal.
