With the way Kocurek develops guys, you absolutely keep him. If we can add another edge, no one has to play more than 50 snaps next year.

Well, to the FO credit, Hyder didn't do anything in Seattle and Key has never done anything prior to this year. I'm hoping for a fair, two year deal. Some decent money, but not a major commitment. If this holds up, he'll be cashing in far more than he would by taking whatever any team will offer. Now if a team just offers him stupid money, see Kendrick Bourne with New England, then he has to take it. I wouldn't be mad at him either.

With that said, I hope Seattle cuts Hyder and we bring him back. If we can get the 2020 version, it's going to be hell on QBs. Just get us a Dee Ford clone that can chase Kyler Murray and Russell Wilson's asses.

Absolutely, at least if *I* was ShanaLynch. You don't see a lot of 8+ sack guys in free agency. Usually they are all locked up.

If ShanaLynch can pay 30 million to Dee Ford, for one or two games year, they can pay Arden as much as the market will bear for his skill set -- to be on the 49ers. In other words, I'm pretty confident they *will* pay Arden to stay. Just *how* they are going to do it is going to be the trick of it.

I admittedly didn't know s**t about this guy other than he was a promising player at LSU but an underachiever in the NFL. Not sure why but I assumed he was going to be in the mold of a "finesse" pass rushing specialist, if we where going to get any production out of him at all. I couldn't have been more wrong, this dude is NASTY out therein the trenches. Tim Ryan reffered to him as a "War Daddy" on KNBR last week, which is a fitting moniker for him from what I've seen so far.

Want him to be resigned.

My concern is why hasn't he done much of anything until now?

And is he a one season star??
