2nd
3rd
3rd (Comp for McDaniel)
3rd (Comp for Mayhew)
4th
5th
5th (Comp for DJ)
7th
7th (From Denver)
7th (Comp for K'Waun)

So 10 projected picks right now.

We need to figure out how to move up or use some picks to get a better pick in 2023. No way we are going to draft 10 players, nor should we.

9 picks this year, 10 next year.

Has a draft even happened in this era where we haven't traded up or down?

Foster, Williams, Aiyuk, Wish, CJ, Pettis etc

Even using picks for other players - Trent, Tomlinson, Omen etc

That's why I haven't been too concerned about Jimmy's trade value. How many bloody picks do we really need?

TLDR - I agree, we're not drafting 19-20 players to keep over the next two years.

No, no way we draft 9 players this year, nor 10 next year, but it's always good to have these extra picks, in case someone falls, and you can trade up, entice teams with a future pick, but those 10 are 2023 picks, we own a 2nd, 2 3rd'd, a 4th, a 5th, 3 6ths & 1 7th(the final pick of the draft) for 2022.

I feel like there may only be maybe 5-8 spots open, I have the following depth chart, kind of like who would make it now.

Its pretty amazing how many contract seem to be expiring after this season

Best thing about this list is not seeing Josh Norman on it.

I say draft them all, bring as many guys into camp (90 max I believe) as we possibly can to create competitions. Make guys earn spots rather than projecting or giving them spots.

Montana/Young made both players better. Our WR group was so good back in the day that we traded McCaffrey (sp) to the Broncos.

Competition will keep guys from becoming complacent, keep 'em on their toes, while making diamonds out of what we may think of as coal when they walk in the building.

I agree, not sure they'll draft 10 rookies, but whoever is taken 6th-7th rds are PS candidates, especisally Pick 262, Mr. Irrelevant lol. And yes competition is the best thing to keep them being complacent.

This is a pretty good roster. We do need some starters - so I would like to see them add couple players via FA and move up in the draft to add more talented players.

Need major help at RG, SS, C (Woods - retirement is a possibility), RT (no backup), and would like to add at least 1 WR via draft.

Would really like to draft 3 OL to bring in younger talent and competition on the roster and add at least 1 WR and EDGE in the draft.

48 Players, 5 Potential placeholders, so 5-10 spots open, doubt 10 rookies make it, we'll likely add 1-2 more vets.

Exactly it's a very good roster, SB contenders IMO, I agree we need a few more starters, a RG and/or LG, maybe a SS, I'd like to see us bring in an IOL, and if possible get Key back, put him as a DE/DT, he can play both, then draft wise, need(likely won't be all in 2022's draft) a future C, 3rd TE, 5th & 6th WRs, RG or LG(depending on where Banks ends up), EDGE to groom opposite Bosa(Ebukam, Willis, Hyder, & Omenihu are good for now, but need a guy for the future cause I have no faith in Dee getting healthy), another CB(unless they sign Verrett or another FA), Safety(either FS or SS), not many needs, as I have 43 guys making it, 5 others are placeholders(Hasty, Brendel, DFF, Hurst, & Johnson), so 5-10 open spots MAX IMO, of course we can see anything happen, injuries, or guys play bad, someone steps up, steals a roster spot, etc....
It's obvious Key is gone. Well............Bye

Hopefully Charles Omenihu can help with the Key loss.

Your defense is extremely tough already.
