They are signing a #3 overall draftee, Not the player he actually is today. They are probally like "He was drafted 3rd overall, So the potential is there and just needs a fresh start" But if they truly watched him play they would feel differently.

ELITE interior defensive line rotation. Just call it now. All being coached by Kocurek.

Kinlaw, Jones, Givens (if he beats his charges), Hurst, Kerr with Armstead moving inside at times. That's a lot of NFL talent in one spot. Easily most depth out of any group on this squad. This is deeper than the 2019 group.

They still take an edge in the draft.

I had said that I thought his deal would be similar to Arden Key's, it basically is, same base, base GTD, signing bonus, and workout bonus, but Key has $200K incentives that count against the cap.
