I got vibes that Shanny ran simplistic stuff with him just to put it on tape. He's known to put plays that don't work on tape or early in games deliberately to set up stuff down the line. This wasn't a game we really needed to pull out all the tricks out of the hat.

You draft best available QB at original draft position or maybe you spend a 2nd or 3rd to move up for Fields. Still pissed we paid so much for a project like Lance...

Lance coming into the game is because Kyle thinks this is the best way to win - having two QBs that force the defense to change the way they defend. Even those ineffective QB sneaks that they are putting on tape can help set up successful plays later in the season.

We weren't running a complex offense in 2012, and Kap didn't skip an entire year of football prior. It was obvious during preseason he needs a year.

Yes but many say Trey as a rookie is more NFL ready than Kap... be it second year or not.

Eitherway, Kyle gets people open for his QBs... I'm sure it won't be the end of the season if Trey has to start, because of injury (and we're still in it).
