Also this is a business right? Every time Lance goes in on the goal line he's taking away from Jimmy stats. Are there performance incentives for Jimmy? Sounds like Kyle is taking food off the table for the Garoppolo family

Lol and which performance incentives are those? Should be pretty easy to look up. I'll assume you did the bare minimum of research before posting that?

AAnd how can I look that up mr. Know it all

Ok so on sportrac theres no breakout of performance incentives. Assuming there is none, point is everyone looks at stats for trade value all star consideration, contract negotiation. So i still maintain there is some potential for hard fedlings and unfairness there

Assuming there is none. LOL

There aren't any listed there because there aren't any in his contract. Hahaha mind blowing huh?

Funny post, sir.

Geez, what are they eating that making over $100 million isn't enough to be able to afford it?

Enough to trade Lance?

In a heartbeat

And here we see the dangers of joining a cult.

Same guys who cried about Jimmy "hate" when people just didn't think that he's great. Now this is actual hate. Sad

Yup.

Truth.

Indeed. Saying he's an average or above average starter is saying he's better than almost all QBs in the NFL. That'd put him somewhere between 15 and 25, as if that's some insult.

And this is what we call throwing s**t and a wall and hoping something sticks.

Trey was in there because it forces DCs to keep planning for it. Detroit absolutely shut down Trey's run plays. Which is why he easily threw a wide open touchdown pass. It also almost certainly took time away from studying our base scheme, which certainly helped our offense score 34 points.

Kyle even said it himself. When you get to camp and the season its all about the playbook and preparing for the next opponent, not working on fundamentals and mechanics. That need to be done outside of the season. With new practice rules and all that there is limited time on the actual field for everything to get implemented and installed. Obviously there will be some drills that emphasize fundamentals but the work has to be done in the offseason. Thats also when these QBs make the jump, Josh Allen, Alex Smith who went to Brees's guy and even Brees credited allot of his development to his out of season QB coach.

Wagyu every meal.
I seriously doubt that Kyle will be using Trey just to save the team a little money. They would more than make up for anything he earns in bonuses by making it to the SB.

He obviously isn't. That's an utterly ridiculous argument. If Trey shows up in the red zone more it's because Kyle thinks his run threat will help convert more red zone opportunities.

But Trey was a touch slow on throwing that out. That's the difference between him and Jimmy right now, and why Jimmy is starting. It's extremely common among rookies, of course. Being a bit hesitant as you adjust to the NFL speed. But, the point is, Sherfield was already out of his break when Trey threw it, while Jimmy's out a couple plays before was thrown as the WR was breaking. That's the main thing Trey needs to work on, and only experience will do that. Practice, in this case, WILL actually help that, however.

I've said this over and over yet people tell me I'm wrong

I'd like Lance to workout with Palmer this off season
