As soon as the trade was made, it was one of the all-time worst draft trades. So yeah, it's a fireable offense except you're never going to find a coach better than Shanahan on the market. Just fire Lynch and hire someone who can actually draft and control Shanahan's dumb draft decisions

Player development improves the most by playing…this team accepted the idea that a loss or two might happen if he plays….that's part of the process and fans need to be okay with it
