Yeah then he should be fired along with everyone else. They will not have Jimmy starting in 2022 which is what that comment was based from

As soon as the trade was made, it was one of the all-time worst draft trades. So yeah, it's a fireable offense except you're never going to find a coach better than Shanahan on the market. Just fire Lynch and hire someone who can actually draft and control Shanahan's dumb draft decisions

Lol according to who? You? Yeah I'll tool with Shanny over you dude.

Kyle won't trade a single win for development.

Players get better on the bench, just look at the guy we play on Sunday.

Lance will start when Kyle thinks he will give the 49ers as good of a chance to win week in and week out as JG.

I am sure we will see him sprinkled in here and there.

Player development improves the most by playing…this team accepted the idea that a loss or two might happen if he plays….that's part of the process and fans need to be okay with it

So you agree that Lance is not ready yet? Do you also agree Lance will be sitting there for a while if Jimmy keeps winning except for the odd cameo on game day? Furthermore, in the event JG takes us to the SB this year and wins it then it will be groundhog day next year. You agree with that to don't you?

I think Kyle could win games with Lance all the same…offense would look a little different but he would tailor it to him all the same.

Winning the SB is a big if dude…Jimmy won't be on this team next yr.

Dont be stupid. He would have let Catchmaster and Random vote 5 times each but Random stuffed up his vote a couple of time. NY85 voted 971 times. Please be more careful with your posting of stats because us people with OCD get upset if you get it wrong.

Stop trolling, I told you I have him a ton of credit for week 1. Man ya'll are some dramatic over a person you don't even know

Some folks are so butt hurt that their guy isn't starting. Its almost like they favor a player over the team. A fan only has two options, you either support the team or you don't. Its the only thing a fan can control. Everything else is a waste of energy.

When Kyle believes Trey Lance gives us the best chance to win he will start but not until then. Until then, trust in the process and trust in Kyle.

Who's butt hurt? Who doesn't support the team…quit being dramatic.

Stop being stupid…Lance isn't my "favorite" player on the team. It's Kittle/Bosa for me

Interesting meaningless poll that popped up in my YouTube feed.

I'm actually surprised Lance got as many votes as he did considering he's had like 3 snaps in the nfl so far.

Happy to see Warner getting the recognition he deserves.

How is Bosa not even listed?

Forget the fans for a moment. What makes you think Shanahan is willing to trade wins for development?

The moment he spent 3 1st rd picks on a 20 yr old QB with 300 passing attempts.

and yes fans will have to accept it…that's part of the process.

He's being developed for next season. Hopefully by then, he would have received plenty of playing time.

I hope so. Hopefully we'll have a big lead by the 4th quarter so he'll be able to get some valuable experience.

Many people talked all offseason even before the pick was made and even before the trade was made that Trey is gonna have to sit and develop. I don't think many people should be concerned nor surprised that he is sitting and not taking too many snaps. After seeing almost all of the rookies that are starting struggle, I'm okay with taking his time.

Of course I'm expecting him to play a little more throughout the season, Kyle is smart he knows he has to play and experience more live bullets in games that matter.
