They're definitely going 17-0 so I'm obviously not worried about them getting blown out.

We could use him as a running back right now

This week will be a good barometer of how good Shanahan's running scheme really is. We'll see if he can literally take guys off the street and win.

I mean… if you doubt that at this point then I don't know what team you've been watching. Mostert was a special teamer, Wilson, Breida, Hasty, etc…. If the running game sucks it's hard to blame the scheme for guys that don't even know it being forced to play.

If anything it would be a compliment to the offensive line… for these newcomers they are probably being taught the terminology of strong side and weak side and which gap… then see hole and run through it. Not the nuances of each play.

For the record, I'm with you. I think he can succeed with anyone. But it's not really a fair comparison, as those guys at least were on the team during training camp.

I believe that to be true.

that barometer happened last year

When did I say start him the 1st game? I never said that at all…I've said sometime around or after the bye would make sense. I also said if he doesn't start he should get snaps outside of a couple runs throughout the yr

I'm sure there will be a blowout here and there where they'll put him out there to handle mop up duties.

Jimmy did confirm on the Rich Eisner show that they had plays for Trey last game but the opportunities didn't present themselves.

In short, the game was close and Kyle only trusts Jimmy. And Kyle doesn't trust Trey.

Amirite anything-but-Jimmy crowd? j/k

Who was the QB? Who was on the OL? Who was out there as receivers? That's part of the picture.

I think he's likely talking about the Seahawks, Packers and Saints games…not exactly great points considering Packers game was a mess. Seahawks game was missing several key guys and Garoppolo was a mess when he played. Saints who are very good vs the run anyways got us without Jimmy, Kittle and Deebo.

Well, if Kyle doesn't trust Trey, explain why he is only carrying 2 QB's when one of them is almost certain to get injured.
This an important game vs the Packers... could come into play regarding homefield in the playoffs, and no better off not going to Lambeau.

So I don't think Kyle will throw Trey out there unless he feels he can get us some points or key 1st downs.

NC was making fun of the club who claims Shanny doesn't trust Jimmy

to be honest, I just want to see if hes a bust or not so we can move on lol
This guy has one year of collegiate D2 experience. He's a rookie. We have Jimmy

He was drafted to watch and learn and to get ready once his number is called

Just like Mahomes before him

We all want to see him play, but I think Kyle is doing it the right way. Just got to be patient.

Wat?

He's played 4 regular season snaps, one of those going for a TD.
