What I was looking at just before the pick:
Beautiful post-storm sunset, just like the beautiful sunset after this horrible season and anxiety filled off-season.

Who did you want? Mac? Fields? Or were you just gonna pull this s**t like you do every year in every picks thread? It's getting old, why not go over the Steelers version if the Webzone, cause we all know you love them so much.
Because the Steelers actually draft very good football players. John and co should take notes.
Coming from the team that thought mason Rudolph was the future and tried replacing Bell with Connor. f**k outta here.
Lol this is pennies compared to drafting soloman thomas or trading bucker for kinlaw. Lmao

What makes Lance worth three 1st round picks?...or 2 and some change what ever it is.
If we organically fell into 3rd pick, I'd be more stoked.
Thinking about the level of competition that steeled him, makes me think he's sitting a year behind Jimmy G.
That makes me question the overall haul we gave up.
Time will tell, though.
If kyle can make Mullens look good in a 49er uniform in Seadderall land, imagine what he can do with Lance!

Considering we got a talented kid, I'm going to trust Kyle in his evaluation and hope Lance answers all questions related to playing at FCS and having limited experience.
I liked Fields more also but I'm glad it was Lance and not Jones. Huge sigh of relief for me. Will have to wait til later to see Kyles plan for Trey. Will they give him. Limited package to start like the Niners did with Kap or Will they ha e him sit the whole year?

Could've built the team and contended for 4 or 5 years drafting blue chip linemen, offensive and defensive. Lance? Who did he play against? I hope he pans out but I don't think he will see the field any time soon, unless Jimmy goes down again. I can't see moving that far up and taking the third consensus player on the board.

I wanted Fields at #3, but am completely content with Lance.
I cannot blame Shanalynch at all for this trade now. Even if Lance busts, the trade up makes sense. Absolutely love Shanalynch's plan for remaining competitive now (Jimmy G) and potentially becoming a power house in the future if Lance can get anywhere near his ceiling.
Love it the plan.

This team is stupid.
Nate Davis was developmentally disabled. Trey is brilliant. Replace "this team" with "this team's fans."

Few guys have what it takes mentally to do that. I think Trey does. His internal make up is what made me begin to like him. He has the intangibles.
I am so looking for this guy to play (hopefully) in the NFL pre-season. Steve Young 2.0 if he develops!
He has a lot better arm and is bigger and tougher

He cried when selected. Is he a good kid? The #1 pick looked so cocky. I think I'm loving Trey
