Many in here would be stoked if he became Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson 2.0.

It's not a dig...I just can't keep up (with fans) as it changes constantly with every new snap.

WHO is comparing him to Lamar, NC? NO ONE lol why are you making stuff up.

I said we play the colts in two weeks, they got crushed by Lamar and I think Lance could find success vs them (we all said we didn't want him playing vs the colts before the season started).

I also said when Lamar came into the league people said he should be a RB/WR and that his QB skills were s**t. Well they tailored an offense around him, won a f**k ton of games, and NOW he's becoming a better pocket passing QB. Weird that s**t takes time.

Nothing wrong with your stance here. But you don't think fans in this very thread haven't drawn comparisons to Lamar Jackson? Really? The dude has been compared to everyone at this point. Lamar plays last night so naturally, the focus is on his career health AS validation Lance can be in that same bucket...if he wasn't hurt already x2.

Everyone wants to prove the other person wrong to the point they're making up what someone said EVEN THOUGH it's all in writing lol. WTF are we doing here.

It's coming to a point where a lot of people in here aren't worth having conversations with...people get so defensive over everything, everyone thinks there right and know more than the other guy (I'm at fault too), people are so stubborn and would rather lie/make up s**t then accept that they might be wrong or someone else just might know more about something.

I'd bet money if people in here actually met one other these conversations would be totally different. There would be more humility and understanding. I mean we're all fans of the same team and yet it's always about one person vs other person in here, like if you're right that changes anything about what we watch on Sunday lol

Not a good idea. Especially with Alabama fans. Since after that Texas A&M game some weak Roll Tide fan shot another fan cause he couldn't deal with defeat.

The way that guy puts it is funny and accurate. "Double team their worst player and let Chandler Jones run free". I thought Alex Mack was supposed to prevent crap like this from happening.

McG was expecting Kittle to pick up Jones.

LOL man you're reaching so much. Mahomes whom you hated pre-draft was based off potential. Same with Allen. Watson threw a s**t ton of INTs and wasn't regarded as accurate coming out of Clemson. He was "just an athlete" who played on a stud team. I'm sure you hated him too.

He has plus speed for a guy that's 230lbs. His legs ARE a positive not a negative. He's not as elusive as Lamar, not one is...yet you make it sound like I said he wasn't elusive. Go watch him move around a muddy pocket and get yards. He did it on the first damn play of the game.

My god you've watch a handful of snaps and have declared him a bust because you've wanted him to be a bust from day 1...you've been patient with avg Jimmy for 4 years, dealt with him injures and defended him like no other....yet you can't do the same for a 21 yr old who hasn't played real football since 2019. Talk about being bias.

All of this.
Agreed. It's been 1 start and the jumping to conclusions is hilarious.

lol I watched it again then realized you were joking. Seriously though, I don't know jack about OL protection calls but even I can see that protection should have slid to the right, towards McG, since there was a clear numbers advantage for ARI on that side.

If I didn't bring up Jackson and his play last night vs the next team we play, no one would be talking about him right now.

hurting his finger is part of what happens when you play football.. that literally had nothing to do with him being able to run. I mean how about Brady playing on a torn MCL all last yr? Or him hurting his hand this week? What do we seriously think any of these QBs are 100% during the football season? Same with any player.

lol I mean I'll chance it and say Bama is a good guy...it's pretty hardcore down there though.

I was so happy with Mack after game 1. He looked like everything we've wanted from a C all these years. And since then he's been very up and down...

They should. It's probably the best comparison yet at the start of his career. Haha.

Yeah the "I'd rather be right than my team be successful" fans are annoying as f**k. And people who want to claim they are right after a few games of a players career are clearly new to football.

yup...see post#20324

It's gotten to a point in here where it's unbearable to have conversations with a lot of folks in here.

FACTS!! It's like there's a bunch of 10 year olds here who just started watching football

On 12 designed runs, Lance averaged 3.7 ypc.
On 4 scrambles, Lance averaged 11.3 ypc.

Also, of the five holding penalties, two were called on designed runs. Two were called on scrambles. One was on a run play (Still trying to figure out how Dwelley was called for holding there).
At the end of the day, I just want this team to win. I have no trust in Shanahan, which is why I'm doubting Lance. I didn't like what I saw from Lance in college, but it's hard for anyone to translate college to nfl. I don't like what I've seen so far, and the blind homerism for Lance in here just kills me. I get being excited,, but it's like Shanahan and Lance can do no wrong in here. I really want lance to succeed and the team to succeed, and I want him to prove me wrong.

That call was awful.

I'm waiting to see it from another angle and assuming Dwelley grabbed his arm after he pushed him away. That is the only thing that makes sense.

Thanks for that. I have no problem with Lance using his legs when he sees a running lane versus man coverage (I don't know what coverages he was scrambling against vs ARI). Hopefully it forces defenses to devote a spy and/or play zone coverage to help contain his scrambling. Either of those things will help the passing game.
