damn, look at the rook snag that knucklepuck. No excuses, you gotta catch that f**king wobbler, especially with the gloves these dudes are wearing now. They're basically perma-stickum.

Im in the same boat. I really hope Im wrong, but I dont see it either. Im just sitting back waiting to see something positive.

Yeah and you apparently didn't see it with Mahomes too

I don't understand the point of this. A guy has to be 100% correct on all his draft assessments?

Impossible. Even Bill Walsh took Carmazzi over Tom Brady. Do you toss out all of Walsh's wisdom because he got one pick wrong as well?

Apparently fans must be right 100% of the time and must easily project to the next level. But whatever makes him feel better.

It was a great throw and there's really nothing you can do to diminish it, no matter what BS crap you try to make up.

You need to get rid of faithful in your name.

Faithless...

Dudes been in here a month and most of his comments are in the Trey thread hating on him...nothing objective about what he posts.

Al Shaiir was blatantly tripped on this play as well. Right in front of the ref.

That is a beautiful pass. I am hopeful for this kid, not rooting for his failure. I don't think he'll be able to put the whole package together this year to get us to 11 or 12 wins and a playoff spot. I think Jimmy can do that, though I acknowledge his limitations. Also, a good season by Jimmy might net us some trade value to recover from that jacked up trade.

No he b***hed about Kyle missing on Mahomes, then said he always wanted him ONLY forgetting its the internet and when you write stuff down people will see it. IT was found and brought up. I got no problem saying I was wrong about Mahomes and that's been documented. no one is 100% right at least own up to it.

What's the point in declaring a playing as a bust after 5 weeks with only one start under his belt? You literally can't be objective on this topic and you've made it bluntly clear. You got people in here saying he needs to sit in learn for a year, then the SAME people are calling him a bust when he's forced to play because their great QB can't stay healthy. There was NEVER an objectivity with you guys and Lance. IF he didn't play like Mahomes day 1 he was always gonna be a bust in your eyes.

End of the day if you're right or wrong on someone it means absolutely nothing...arguing like you're some high end scout then saying his arm talent is only slightly better than Jimmy is pretty ridiculous. Makes the points in here less valuable IMO.

Ok. Pay me millions of dollars to be wrong. Shanahan is paid to evaluate and watch hours of film. He is paid to build this team. He missed on mahommes, one mistake. Understandable. But do you really want to go through all of his mistakes? When you make mistake over and over again, then you get questioned. It seems people on here are catching on to shanahan.

Never said that, how about you own up to it instead? How about you take a little bit of what you did with mahomes and NOT do it with Lance, learn from your mistakes & have a little humility, realize you just might be wrong? OR don't and call him a bust after one game and hold onto that like you think you know more than Kyle and all the other NFL analysts that actually get paid a lot of money to do that? Whatever seems pretty unproductive and boring to think a guy is just gonna suck because he wasn't your pick, such is SM everyone thinks there right and most don't have a clue.

Not if you're a meteorologist in Colorado

I don't think either QB is getting 11-12 wins. Maybe Jimmy magically turns it around...I'm just being realistic with it.

Damn...imagine thinking Mahomes was Kap 2.0

How can anyone even make that comparison...they were nothing alike lol

I absolutely can be wrong. You and I both have admitted that we've missed before. Trey can be great. I'm not seeing it right now. Infeel like he isn't a natural qb. I hope I'm wrong. Right now he's playing like a deer in the headlights.

Now you admit that he could potentially be a bust.

A receiver that can catch the ball when it isn't a perfect spiral? That does deserve to be called the catch of the week.

All after one start too. The analysis is super impressive.

You sound fine with him missing on Mahomes originally? Damn near EVERY team missed on Mahomes (KC was drafting like 26th any team could have moved up if they thought he was gonna be who he was) and even Andy has missed on QBs in the past all the same.

So that SB roster wasn't on him? We have what 3 players at 3 different positions that just reset the market at their positions because they're that good. Bosa will be next. Deebo will be highly paid. This roster doesn't suck. Is it SB caliber right now? No it's not...a main part of that is because the QB. They're in a transition and that s**t takes time, Jed is fine with that SO I suggest you be fine with it because you can't fire Kyle. Lance will be just fine and needs time....

Also EVERY HC/GM misses. Bill and Carroll are two of the worst drafting HCs in the league yr after yr. YET had their QB and that's what matters.

Look if Lance ends up being a massive bust you'll get your wish and everyone will be gone. I'm sure they will get some great HC/GM to come in after that too And I'm sure you'll b***h about that all the same....Kyle will be scooped up faster than you've ever seen and be just fine.
