Fascinating if true. Did it come directly from Shannhan or Lynch or is this more media nonsense?

makes sense, he's familiar with all our concepts and comfortable playing under center. His mechanics aren't broken and have vastly improved from his tape to now (never worked with QB coaches before, big difference in his mechanics over the past 6 months). i'm not worried about his accuracy.
Hard to believe.
He looked really good mechanics-wise in his second pro day.
Gotta love to hear that.

You know what's crazy? Every time I listen to an evaluation of Lance; he comes across as a more physically gifted Alex Smith. Not a bad thing at all. It's just people seem to gush over his ability to learn, process and command... Then add that his physical traits....

Yep, more athletic, way bigger arm, and hes going to team that is sooo much better in every way imaginable.

His mechanics and accuracy will be really interesting to see if he plays this year. Kyle has said he's not going to scrutinize throwing motion during the season, as those mechanics are kind of like micro-adjustments that are worked on in the offseason. Instead, he'll just focus on their footwork and making sure the guy is in correct position.

But yeah, while Lance hasn't gotten the reps and weekly practices last season, he spent the time studying NFL offenses and working on mechanics.

I liked the answer Kyle gave when a reporter brought up Lance's accuracy. How it's something that is worked on from January to April, when the QB seeks out coaching on his own. I think Lance's personality helps put any concerns at ease. Meaning Kyle thinks Lance is the type of guy that will work January to April to refine mechanics. Kyle seems to have fallen in love with Lance the person just as much as Lance the QB.
Him and Kap are nothing alike as players. Lance is a much more well rounded qb prospect.
Their only similarities are their activist side. Get ready for that. He went all out on it during his 1 game this year.

Well let's hope football is his top priority

Btw...about the arm strength - I've heard couple podcasts now where the hosts spoke to Beck and McElroy (his two private coaches over the last few months) - and both said his velocity will further improve as he continues to improve his mechanics. They saw somethings in his mechanics that actually hurt his velocity on many throws and they expect the ball to pop out even more.

Wow!!

Absolutely do not bring that BS white vs black b******t in here. Leave that out of sports.

And his body type height speed and frame does look like kaep. Between the ears remains to be seen but he absolutely has the same build

Oh I'll bring it up...again if he was white there wouldn't be a single Kap comp. they don't play the position the same at all. It's a piss poor comp.

Why not Wentz? Why not Herbert? Why not Tannehill?

Most comps I've seen from actual analysts have been Josh Allen. Hoping those on this board comparing him to Kaep are a result of lazy ignorance due to the fact he is such a strong runner. Really hope it's not about race.

Trade trey lance + somthing else for Aaron Rodgers.

if he's on the market we absolutely must do all we can to get him

I am in the minority but I wouldn't do that. Part of drafting a QB is so we could get him on a rookie deal and get to keep all our star players. Plus Rodgers is 37 and a whining baby. I don't see him and Kyle getting along.

Father Time is knocking at his door. Aaron's should have probably fallen off last year. You really want to trade the future for an almost washed up qb?????????
