lol oh I am...explain then. So if Lance didn't get all the reps for the past 5+ months and played live football he would actually be WORSE is week 5 then getting a weeks worth of starting reps?

For real you can't be objective...it's legit impossible for you.

Well...when you've been watching 5 min highlights on your local Australian news channel every Friday since Joe Namath played, you would know just as much as him about football.
Unless the coaching staff thinks Lance is so bad it would be embarrassing to put him out there, adding to the questionable decisions this regime has made.

Shots fired at Kyle.

Lynch said the starters get at least 95% of the reps. He said that when talking about Lance and him playing vs AZ. He said it's hard for guys on the offense to get meaningful snaps in practices. Every day is a different install of the weekly playbook. The only snaps he's getting with the 1st string is whatever packages they have for him (which is a bunch of ZRs at this point) There isn't time to sit there and work with Trey all practice.

You said he should learn the playbook, he's not even getting to call plays with his team. The speed? The CBA has watered down practices so much, they're not running full speed in-pad practices every day during the yr. I think you get 14 padded practices a yr.

Again you didn't answer my question...would he have looked better week 5 vs AZ if he got all the starting reps in TC/OTAs, pre-season and started week 1? IF you think so then what the hell is he learning right now that has him in a better position to go play football? It's been from June-Oct of him basically red shirting the season.

Depends on the playcalling, it has been s**t all year regardless of the starter.

Not true. The execution has been s**t, the playcalling has been adequate.

Both have been bad imo.

The game plabs and play calling for the last two games were terrible.

Maybe he is thinking that if he red shirts Lance he gets a pass next year while Trey develops into a starter while if Trey starts most games this year, no pass for next year.

This and that's kinda part of the problem in Kyle's philosophy imo….If everything is based around your scheme for the team to be successful, then you need everyone to execute every play…you can't have Joe blow at RG or backup level players in there and expect it to go well all game.

at some point s**t breaks down and guys gotta just make plays regardless of the play call. Jimmy can't do that. He's not letting guys like Ayiuk go make a play either.

The gameplan against AZ was a bit distasteful, imo. He should have simplified it but not as much as he had. Those runs that lance gets, should be simply be ad lib until he can execute better from the pocket. Someone needs to tell Shanahan that it is okay to lean on Trey's natural abilities but they need to come naturally. However, the play calling wasn't that bad. There was just poor execution throughout the game.

The gameplan for IND was great on those scripted plays to open the game. Even the counters to those plays were brilliant toward the end of the game. Shanahan just waited to long to hit them with the counters. After he ran the first set of scripted plays, he should have amediately hit them with the counters. You know, keep IND against the proverbal ropes. Instead, he called a game not to lose, imo. He saved those counter plays in his back pocket in case he needed them later in the game.

Not all teams have the luxury of having a competent starter who knows the playbook of an eccentric coach like the back of his hand while the golden child can be spoon feed the system over a year or two.

If Jimmy is the bar for having the "luxury" of a competent starter then there's like 2 teams in the entire league that don't have that "luxury".

As far as issues with you, I'm not the only one Jonny..there are others here who question your intentions. Which is sad really.

I said it years ago, I appreciate what you bring to the forum... but with that comes responsibility no? Even before Jonnydel, we had other posters breaking down games in threads (Oldman, who later changed his name to Mr.Mcgibblets...God knows who he is now). He showed his bias for Alex and would blame everyone but him in his breakdowns.

I don't think that's right. I don't like politicians, Religious leaders, Influencers, etc who take advantage of the trust they build up from a group...to sway what they think, what they see with their eyes.

So no, it ain't only you Jonny.... there will be someone else after you, and I'll call that person out if I notice they are not being consistent.

"Sad really"? LMAO. If I'm just being a politician to build trust to sway a couple hundred people on an internet forum I'm one if the saddest individuals alive. Dude, you're putting wayyyy too much stock in what people will feel about how people on an internet forum think of them.

I'm not changing the way I do things to satisfy a small group of people in the webzone. Mods on reddit have reached out and make sure my stuff gets tagged, "quality content" because, in their words, I have the fairest content they've seen.

But, in the WZ, "YOU'RE JUST BIASED".
