Don't worry JD. I'm sure they'll keep that same energy when all the same team issues arise with Trey too.

This crowd doesnt exist. Period.

LOL, you put people into boxes then claim you are out of the box.

There isnt a single poster on this board who would take ANY quarterback in the NFL over Jimmy. Its a gross exaggeration that isnt close to true.

people act like swapping quarterbacks is the key to a turn around.. as long as kyle and his so called coaches coach this team. there is little hope in my opinion./ no matter the qb.... that being said... fine throw trey out there kyle,.. call another game like you did for him last time. watch him get hurt. i think jimmy will be happy to leave this s**t show and i feel bad for trey

What would you change in the playcalling? X's and O's How would you have called the game differently?

i dont think you understand severity of trey's knee injury, they dodged a huge bullet that it wasn't worse. they're gonna take it easy on him.

Do you understand the severity of Trey's knee injury? Do you have access to information about his diagnosis that no one else does?

It is a Pretty Big Injury according to official sources.

OH, man, when I first saw that "knee sprain"… I wondered what really happened…and yes, I was afraid of the worst….still don't know anything, but just pray it really is "just a knee sprain"

i would have stopped calling for runs up the middle. the way we scored our first touchdown and the last touchdown was how we should have played the entire game. i would not have wasted my challenges and time outs and in treys first start. i sure as hell would not call so many designed runs for him. oh.. and i would have used 44 with no kittle out there. how did we use the best fullback in the nfl sunday. was it effective. was it interesting. i must have missed it

No I think fans understand that it's time to bring Trey in to start his growth period and nothing to do with wins. This season is just off. I am comfortable with that though. I prefer Trey to come in and gain experience for 2022 and beyond. Totally cool with it. I think what many are saying is the same.

This season is near a loss and sure I could hang on to mathematical elimination stats but at this moment in time we suck.

Bring Trey in not to win but to grow.

I get it and thats ok with me.... i just have zero confidence in kyle to put him in a place where he could have success and help him become better. would you keep jimmy around or trade him in the next few days? risky cuz that leaves us with nate s. i guess it would not matter. what we get for jimmy now is the same as we would get for him in the off season. a 6th rounder in my opinion

You might want to sign up for a Twitter account. But the same crowd is also the anything-but-Mac crowd too.

Next you're going to tell us mobile QB's don't get injured.

It's MCL. The best of the injuries if you must have a leg related issue. 2 to 2.5 weeks and most likely no worries for long term.

Now this Zack Wilson injury that just occurred. That's a weird one. Did they say BCL? One I wasn't familiar with but that could be 5 to 6 weeks and that can cause long term affects when back. It could linger and linger.

So Trey should be fine. i still predict that this will be Jimmy's last game as a 9er (unless an injury occurs). Like I said in another thread, DVR and save the game. It may be worth something some day . And Jimmy in on Halloween in the beginning and Jimmy out on Halloween final. How ironic.

Maybe Jimmy can wear a Trey Halloween mask. Awesome!

all knee injuries that involve the ligament are a big deal, regardless of timetable for return

who said it was a MCL?
Surely we've seen Jimmy, it's not getting us anywhere and the play offs while still obviously achievable, actually look so far out of reach based on performances.

So stick with Jimmy, keep limping along and it being relatively mundane, boring and obvious

Or.

When Trey is healthy then develop him, have some excitement and build up some momentum hopefully.
Trey gonna get his scout team reps today lol...see how it goes-Kyle

every single team has the luxury of not playing their rookie QB...every single one. Jags could have play Minshew over Lawrence if it meant he was gonna be successful in the long-term. Cam over McCorkle. Dalton over Fields. Flacco over Wilson etc etc. NO team NOT ONE would throw away the future of their prized rookie QB, if all they had to do was sit him for a yr. Any level headed fan would take one bad season (especially if you're a bad team) if it meant you're gonna have a stud QB for the next decade.

IF that's the key to success you go get a bridge QB, every team can do that if they want too. Saying not everyone has the luxury to do that is a b******t excuse.

BUT like our HC said "It's hard to get better at football, by not playing football."

Well Shanahan just said now in his press conference that the Scout Team reps are very beneficial for rookies because it gets them experience with different schemes etc and they all find in beneficial. He is also saying it is not fair to Trey to start him before he is ready. So there you go.

Are you saying you know more than Shanahan on QB development?

Papa or the game from one of the pressers. Thus why he was due back to practice today. It's been two weeks. About on schedule.
