Half the guys playing right now probably have a sprained knee. Its not really a big deal. Shanahan probably just used it as an excuse for not having to make a QB change yet.

It also allowed him to stay at the facility during the bye week.

I doubt they faked it, because there's just not a good reason to do that and I doubt Kyle wanted Trey to be unavailable for the Colts game considering the weather conditions.

True. How do we know it isn't his mattress that is the problem and not the hits he took against Arizona? Trey, you're making millions of dollars, you shouldn't be sleeping on an air mattress!

Really seems like that's what's happening, just based off of Kyles statements. There was never a point in the game where his knee was being looked at, it was minor, then major, now this.

So objective that practice throwing the football isn't even important to you. Trey is an inaccurate thrower of the football with poor mechanics. He doesn't need to throw to the 1st team to practice these things he could be throwing to a f**king post. I want see lance play and have stated as much. However, shanahan doesn't believe the time is right. The guys job and reputation in the league is tied to Trey lance's success. You don't f**king think if he thought he was ready in any sense that he'd put him in the game?????

It's been explained by people that actually do this s**t for a living (or been around it) that you don't improve your mechanics in-season. YES throwing the football, running the offense, playing with the guys that you will actually be playing with on Sunday matter. He's doing next to nothing there. Kyle just said that Lance getting to play in that AZ was so valuable.

I am excited for that time and hope to god it is soon because this is a dumpster fire. The god damn head coach who's entire career is predicated off this pick working out at this point does not think he should play yet. Do you think that you have more in-depth knowledge than that that you can share???? You've seen what he's doing in these practices??? You know where the kid is at mentally???? Reps on reps on reps are crucially important to any athlete in any sport. Would it help for him to get more time with the ones sure I would t argue with that but he has a s**t load of work to do in so many other areas that can be worked on every single rep. Why would baseball players hit off the tee or take bp with a coach if live reps are all that matters??? Just get the starter in there and throw them like a game. Why would professional pitchers throw hundreds of practice pitches hitting there spots working on off speed pitches???? Let's just throw the best hitter in the box and let them go to work. Why would John smith hit a million low singles on some random practice partner before the olympics???? Let's just get randy Lewis in there to go live all day. Why does a golfer hit thousands of shots in the range????? Let's just go play golf. Long story short lance needs work on accuracy, touch, and mechanics all of these can be worked in every single day with a coach or on his own. Kyle doesn't need to be standing over his shoulder to work on these things.I think Scags has to go by the way and whoever they hire should be attached to his f**king hip 8 hours a day. Go throw 100 balls with perfect mechanics to a good damn ball boy. Pick a precise spot that that ball has to hit. Learn the play book so you know it in your sleep. That is how you improve during the season until it is your time.

Yes, start him again against Arizona rather than against a weaker defense in Chicago.

They almost ended his season the last time he faced them.

Kyle would be a dips**t if he did that but it would not surprise me. He isn't good at putting people into situations to succeed this year.
