Falcons at 4, or too either one of the Panthers or Broncos in a possible trade up.

You don't think the Falcons were locked in on Pitts at #4?

Looks like a good kid. I'm rooting for him.

Is that Lance or Vernon ???

Really?

Just ignore him, he makes no sense pretty much all of the time, the nicknames are stupid and will never catch on, I'm learning to not reply to him when he has a dumb idea, because he didn't do research.

You Mad Bro ???

Good question StOnEy333, If we took Mac or Fields, then I'd have to say someone would have traded up to that 7-9 range to get Lance, luckily we'll never know.

I do, I think the Falcons wanted Pitts the whole time, they aren't getting rid of Ryan any time soon, his contract won't be unloaded that easily, nor cutting him will happen. The Falcons will eventually get a QB, but to pass up Pitts would have been a shocker, if we had a young QB already, then I would have said F it, take Pitts at 3, but we didn't till now. Plus there will be other QBs in the future for ATL, and TEs for us.
Yep, we know CHI would have taken him, or NE, probably DEN, so 7-9 is probably right on.

Personally, I think it was Trey or Pitts for them from everything I read about it leading up to the draft. Just google it, no secret that they were in love with Trey.

Right. And it was no secret that we were in love with Mac and he was the no brainer pick for Kyle. lol

Post draft Ron Rivera suggested that WFT was contemplating a move up for a young QB, but "the suspense was over early". Sounds like it was Lance but who knows how far they were planning on jumping.

They may have bought into the Mac to 49ers at 3, WFT had the 19th pick, so 1 ahead of Chicago, but yeah, sounds like it was Lance, if that's true about suspense was over, cause the first 2 picks were obvious, it was our pick that was the biggest mystery to the draft. Thankfully we took Lance, and not Mac.

There are ppl on this board and in the media who think it's hard to get how good or fast of a runner Lance is bc he's playing against future car salesmen. Well - here it is.

Lamar Jackson is 6'2 210 24 years old in his physical prime
Lance is 6'4 225 20 year old

LOL times the 49ers pocket has ever looked like that.

1. The pass rush look like it disrupted the timing.

2. It was just a good read by Peterson and he made a play on it.

A little hard on players when it was the first game of the season with no OTA's, half ass TC with no Preseason.
This angle doesn't show it, but Bourne was open BY SEVERAL YARDS until the ball hung up. It was a TERRIBLE throw.

A wobbly underthrown pass.

Yeah it was a late throw. It was actually a perfect hall thrown ball - he just threw it late. A second earlier and it hits Bourne in stride for a touchdown.

it also looked like the ball bounced off bournes chest once the CB deflected it. Lol so everyone sucking ass.

I remember that first game - our team came out flat and with no energy. You could tell how uncomfortable they where playing without fans.

I mean it's YOUR hypothetical question, you looking for your answer to your own question? Nobody will ever know the answer to that, but you asked for an opinion and I gave you one.
