I agree. I'm really worried.

Are you watching trey right now? If yes,...how bout share with us how you're watching him? (No window creeper stuff)

What we've seen from the start of the season to now, PLUS his failure to win the starting job from an average qb, to Shanny's downright refusal to even give him quality snaps during a game is enough to make me concerned.

All that and just watching him in certain situations. I think we can all agree his pocket awareness and accuracy are all fringe at the moment, if that. He doesn't have that quick, easy release on intermediate routes, it's unnatural and causes a wobbly ball with the nose pointed downward. Not good for this offense.

And he doesnt have a rocket arm like Mahomes or Allen. It is average. Needs to work on his mechanics just like Jimmy lmao..who the eff is the QB coach.

Forreal wtf are you guys concerned about? Trey has only played 1.5 games.

I'm now very worried. It's still early and he's young. But there is a lot to be concerned about here.

wtf are you talking about

The next 4 picks were Banks, Sermon, Thomas, Moore/Lenoir. So 4 out of 5.
And yea, I do believe Trey is a bust but he wasn't counted in the *next 4

Are you even a 9ers fan?

I am. But man, I was legitimately outraged on draft day. I know that's not healthy but I'm not ready to let them off the hook

Shouldn't one be rooting for Trey to succeed rather than talking about not letting them off the hook?

Sure sounds like one prefers to have their personal opinion validated than to be proven wrong. Or at least that's how it comes off from what I can see and read.
Are the people that are "genuinely concerned" about Trey after playing 1.5 games "genuinely concerned" about everything IRL??
It's settled. After not playing this past game (which the Trey is bust crowd and Jimmy top QB crowd is saying should happen) and all of his 1.5 game rookie experience, Trey Lance is a bust. Some of you lost your mfing minds

He hasn't shown anything in half a season. The other rookie QB's look better so far.

That's not true, SanDiego - all the other rookies with the exception of Mac are playing like s**t. Don't start making stuff up to prove your point.

As of right now I would say he's the worst of the bunch. Worst of all rookies. The other ones at least start and can throw a spiral. Mac Jones looks best so far.

It's early. But he hasn't shown the ability to start or stay on the field. When out there he doesn't read the field well or throw an accurate ball.

He hasn't played for a year and a half - he's going to look like s**t. Give him a chance to play with the first team in games and practices. If he's still struggling next year after giving him the starters job, then we can start worrying.

The point is they are playing, when will Lance start playing, next year? Let's see now, he doesn't play this year, he didn't play last year so he will be going into year three without playing. Also keep in mind the level of competition he went up against in college, not Division 1. How many fans on the Zone have seen him play a full college game, were they even televised? I need something tangible, not talks of speculation and high ceilings.
