There are ppl on this board and in the media who think it's hard to get how good or fast of a runner Lance is bc he's playing against future car salesmen. Well - here it is.



Lamar Jackson is 6'2 210 24 years old in his physical prime
Lance is 6'4 225 20 year old

This is sort of a relief for me. Was difficult to tell Lance's speed because he appears so under control when he's running. But I guess his top speed is very fast. I think his 40-time is faster than what was clocked. I'm sure his primary focus wasn't coming out of a sprinter's stance.

Quoting myself. I know Kyler Murray ran a 4.3 but I wonder if he has clocked faster than 20mph with a uniform. If not, then this is what we have:

1. The biggest QB in the NFC West
2. The fastest QB in the NFC West
3. The strongest arm in the NFC West
4. Physical ability: Lance = Wilson + Murray + Stafford

They traded up for Lance, but didn't want to end up with another Patrick Mahomes situation where they pass on somebody that they didn't really evaluate at all. So they did analysis on all 3 QBs without coming to an official decision.

He's right. And so was Lombardi. Lynch and Shanahan caved in to pressure to select Lance. Too much smoke and evidence. What disappoints me the most is that they said the presser that would listen to social media etc, and they were going to do their job.

I think they made the move up because they identified several QB candidates worthy of trade up (rookie QB deal was necessary to maintain roster). I believe Lawrence, Wilson, and Lance were the original QBs, it was more about moving into a position to properly conduct their down selection without the subterfuge. Then through the process, Lance was identified as the leader.

Lance said he's been getting laser 40 times around 4.51 (97th percentile) and Kap ran a 4.53, but Kap was like 5/6lbs bigger. Both are plenty fast.

This can't be correct. We are to believe that they did not divulge their love for lance to each other until a few days prior to avoid bias , and lynch was so ecstatic that shanahan wanted lance that he started pinching his own nipples.

Why can't it be correct? They knew they loved all these dudes and now had the ability to freely evaluated them. Kyle told Lynch in January that he loved Lance and sent him film on him...you miss that or no?

They then went through the process and both came away with the same conclusion...t's not that deep of a thing, Jose.
