Just admitted to trolling. Isn't that a ban?

Coming from the guy who said, "I hope your kids don't become stupid like you".......

Stop trolling just because you don't like the pick

Like I said, I hope he balls out. I don't think the niners made the best moves but it is what it is.

Now it makes sense, keeping Jimmy. Making the trade after lances pro day. Requesting he works with beck.

Yup, I agree.
I did think they would go for Lance in the poll. The kid is not even 21 yet. If Jimmy stays healthy and plays well, this young man can sit and learn for a couple years and still be the same age as some QB's that got drafted tonight.

I cannot blame Shanalynch at all for this trade now. Even if Lance busts, the trade up makes sense. Absolutely love Shanalynch's plan for remaining competitive now (Jimmy G) and potentially becoming a power house in the future if Lance can get anywhere near his ceiling.

Love it the plan.

Why?

Because Kyle, who is infinitely more knowledgeable in QB's that fit his system than you are, says so. And, they have a plan that you're not privy too.

Really that's the reason?

The fact that you didn't come up with anything else than being homer worries me.

We've had coaches before Kyle... we'll have coaches after Kyle. "QBs that fit his system"? If I described Lance to some around here a few years ago, they would have said I'm crazy and he doesn't fit Kyle's system. Hell Kyle might have said the same thing to me in 2017 when he first got here.

I don't feel it's worth trading all that draft capital for a QB who just fits a Kyle's system.... I'd want one who could fit different systems and be under different coaches and succeed. Because it's not guaranteed that Kyle is going to be around for ever.

No way to know right now. Results will prove if it was worth it or not.

Just because you don't think it was doesn't make it true

Lance is NOT Kap 2.0, he has a much more natural throwing motion and has potential to be a much better passer... and, he seems much more affable than Kap

Shanny is not Greg Roman either.

Signs of Lance being the pick were all there from the beginning but everyone including myself decided to ignore it.

i said immediately when the trade happened it was for lance because of his first pro day performance, then i kept flipping back and forth between him and mac.

There is no way 49ers made this decision without getting Kyle on Board.

Damn. I thought they traded up for a quarterback, not a running back. Oh well.

Kyle picked him, trust in Kyle to develop him into a possible Mahomes 2.0. He's a young guy at 20 years old. He has the time to fix his mechanics and get back into the groove of reading defenses. Kyle's job and career is on the line, he's not going to choose a QB that's more a liability to him than an asset.

Jesus, I knew no matter who we drafted guys like him, pdizo, sus, and others would complain, call it a bad pick, didn't matter who it was, it happens every year with them. The ironic thing is people like him didn't want Mac cause he wasn't dynamic, now Lance is bad cause he can use his legs? LMAO. Clown fans, no wonder we're called Forty Whiners.

If Lance develops, he could fit into a lot of systems. He could work in a vertical passing offense, in a more run heavy offense like Greg Roman runs, he could fit with numerous teams. The biggest question is if he'll be able to improve his accuracy, that ultimately will determine if he can have long term NFL success.

Yep, Greg Roman's offense was boring AF, it wasn't anywhere near dynamic as Kyle's is.
