Yes he is..

Not until Jimmy is gone.

Who's to say he won't beat out Jimmy?

Technically, he's already ahead of Jimmy. The future Is here.

If Jimmy is here, who knows if Kyle will sit Jimmy. Jimmy just needs to be off the team already so we can all be focused on Trey. He's already too much of a distraction and it's just the beginning of the off-season
I feel like it gets forgotten but Jimmy and the team essentially said goodbye to each other at the end of last year. It should be obvious that Jimmy has no future with the team.

And the fact they gave Sudfeld $2 million guaranteed. You don't give your 3rd string QB guaranteed money.

I don't think 2 million is necessarily that big of an investments for sudfield but I also don't remember what we paid Mullens and beathard when we had 3 qbs. But I agree that much guaranteed money implies that Sudfield is most likely the back up.

They basically tried everything to trade Garoppolo. Yeah, I think it´s pretty clear who´ s gonna be the starting QB next year.

Assuming we don't get a trade offer the FO finds palatable I am all for a competition because the best QB will win and then we'd have a great backup in Jimmy.

This... If he can't beat out Jimmy then...

I am not convinced Trey is ready. He only bet the Texans and that is nothing to write home about. Looking at how FO has managed the CAP space it looks like they were planning to keep Jimmy all along. So it will be a competition to see who is best in the pre-season no doubt. Jimmy ain't gone yet

Your crazy if you think Jimmy is going to be the starter again.

Or you´re just a troll. I mean can they be more clear than that? That was Shanahan ´s plan all along. Garoppolo did a farewell press conference.
They sat Trey Lance one year which was the good thing to do for his future I think. He started two games and specially the last one against Houston which was a must win game. He will work this offseason on his game and next season he´s the starter. It´s really obvious so people should stop worrying too much about Jimmy still being on the roster.

+1
I doubt Trey is ready, not that he shouldn't get reps but if we are trying to win a super bowl Jimmy probably is our best bet atm. What ever money we save trading Jimmy's is probably going to Bosa next season anyway.

Coach knows who his #1 QB is in 2022

Can't see walsh, belicheck Reid harbaugh or tomlin doing this s**t. He is the Coach not his f**king best friend.

You guys are focusing on the wrong thing. Just looked up a few of 24kGoldn's songs. That dude needs to not be in the picture.

Lol
