I'm not optimistic about Jimmy but he's our best bet Trey hasn't shown anything yet that he is ready, maybe I'm wrong. Really I wish we would take the "two 2nds" but I'm not going to act like the sky is falling if we bring Jimmy back.

Mahommes didn't win the SB his first year starting. And they had a QB who got them to the playoffs, but they were obviously smart enough to realize that Alex wasn't enough, and Pat was drafted.

Do you think the Chiefs regret trading Smith and going with a "raw" Mahommes and not win the SB his first year?

There's plenty of teams in this league who are okay and get complacent with what they have at QB. But those teams rarely win it all and being passive like that is a soft move. McVay could've stuck with Goff, he went to a SB with him. Reid could've stuck with Alex, they made the playoffs several times.

Thankfully Kyle was also smart like those coaches to swing for the fences and not be complacent with mediocre QB play. How it turns out with Trey we shall see, but it was definitely the right move and I'm glad he's starting this year.

Trey "not being ready" produced against Houston what Jimmy produced against Atlanta. With a whole offseason I see no reason to suggest Trey won't be a better option in 2022.

JImmy should not be here by OTA's.

What? So Jimmy's 3,800 yards 20 tds and 12 INTs is gonna win us a Super bowl lol? If Jimmy is here then that cash isn't going to Bosa...I don't even know what you're getting at with that comment.

What the hell are people assuming with the trey isn't ready s**t...clearly they think he's ready enough to start because they've been trying to move Jimmy for months and paid a backup QB.

"trey isn't ready" what does that even mean...what do you think he's gonna throw 40INts and 10 TDs or some s**t? Ya'll act like he's trying to replace Tom Brady.

He hasn't played anything meaningful for you to even make a comment like he's not ready....it's freaking March. There was no two 2nds. It was a lie.

Our best bet is a QB that no one wants to be their starter lol. You got to be kidding, this is a joke right?

It was obvious to Reid Mahommes was ready, this situation we have here does not give off the same vibe. I applaud Kyle for not settling for average and swinging for the fences. I was one of the first posters here saying Jimmy isn't the answer and got bashed. Id be disappointed to see Jimmy back in 2022 but if the FO doesn't think Trey is there yet don't gamble a season of contention when the NFC is more open than ever especially when we don't even have a 1st in 2023.

That's the real rub. If the standard is he's not ready to be Pat Mahomes and win us a SB that is probably a fair statement. But to suggest somehow the gap between Trey and Jimmy is large enough to keep Jimmy playing when in the small samples we have seen the offense was just as effective under Trey as it was with Jimmy makes no sense.

They have said nothing to the tune of Lance isn't ready…why have they actively been trying to move Jimmy for months? What they gonna start nasty Nate who they paid backup money….no because the plan is for Lance to start.

let's stop pretending Jimmy is something he's not. The league doesn't even value him enough as a starter and people in here think he's our best bet to win a Super bowl? My god people are off their rocker this Friday AM.

As I said I don't know only the FO does. He certainly hasn't shown anything either. God I hope he is but I'm not going to sit here and count on it. I know the two 2nds was a lie. I'm not going to trip if we go into next season with either qb

Not sure why he has to be Mahomes in order to play ya know? Why is that his expectation YR1 and in the same breath people think Jimmy should start even though he's not even on the same planet as Mahomes?

why can't Lance be RG3 YR1? Why can't he put up 3,800 yards 20 TDs and 12 INTs like Jimmy did in his 7th yr in the league? People acting like Lance is gonna toss 30 INTs and 10 INTs despite his 7tds 2ints on 71 passing attempts

i just hope as he is working in the off season here. trey is not letting this jimmy drama get into his head. just proceed trey as if this is your team. you can not control the jimmy thing.. or what lynch does or in his case so far. NOT DOING.. in regards to giving you a good offensive line.

what's he suppose to show in March? It's weird to even complain about that right now. People wanted him to sit for a yr, he did now it's time to play.

Take the training wheels off and see if he takes off or crashes. Its time to find out.
