When Rodgers had his 1st game, People would have said it's rediculous if anybody believes he will be a top 5 QB in this game. When Brady took over for Bledsoe, People didn't think he was going to be elite. There is not a single QB in the history of this game you can say was ready when they 1st stepped on an NFLfield.

49ers can't say Trey is the starter bc it will not help them in trading Jimmy but after listening to everything Shanahan said - it seems obvious that Trey is gonna be the starter. Lance is gonna be such a beast with Shanahan. Time to extend Deebo and Bosa and go for it all.

Yep, Trey is the starter. In 2022 Jimmy will be the best backup we've had since the old backup we had in 2021.
and a major major distraction in my opinion. if you like drama.. then you will love our team this year

I just don't see 49ers keeping Jimmy this season. If there is no trade - he will get cut.

Rodgers / Brady / Mahomes were not starters at this point in time in their careers. I'm not worried. League MVP and SB trophy in the cards in 2022 imo.

Maybe he wasn't a fan of this team last year when Kyle didn't name a starter until week 1.
