I like the idea of Trey extending plays and the occasional tuck and run. I don't want him as a FB in goal line though.
I do think we have to be prepared for a lower completion percentage with him in exchange for much larger yards/catch. He right now most doesn't seem like he's going to go over 70% on games and hopefully Kyle will scheme and find a way to keep the chains moving.
How do you defend Lance? You pray.
Go back to Bills v Chiefs some great D talent and coaching both teams could do zero to stop anything. Get a stop with 13 seconds remaining? Nope.. That's what happens in today's game when you have a big rocket armed QB who can put it on anyone 53 1/2 wide or 70 yards deep. Even if you cover it up who cares he just keeps it himself for easy yardage and slides or goes out of bounds.
This is the TL ceiling. Unstoppable offense. You can't double everyone. There will be one on ones all over the field with Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Gray, take your pick.. and safeties will be backed up off the LOS vs a KS run game juiced up with TDP. This was the vision when they traded up to get TL.
