We're at the point now where we're grabbing comments from 2nd and 3rd tier nfl "insiders" who have absolutely not ties to SF and a guy who claims he was a "scout" for a hot cup of coffee. There's a difference in being a legit scout and being a guy who's a glorified assistant. The Kelly dude thought Tim Tebow was gonna win multiple MVPs and SBs lol. He's been fired from just about every place his been, including Cohn's SI SF branch. Dude's been trying to catfish the NFL/fans pretending he's something for yrs.

The people using that s**t as legit sourcing are clearly trolling and searching for ANYTHING to be proven right….which means absolutely nothing end of the day. Honestly it's kinda pathetic and sad. Imo I value your opinions a whole lot less if that's the route you're going.

we will see what he is and it's not gonna be some final project after a season of football. I would hope people get that are aren't a bunch of instant gratification children….but we all know that's not true.

I think part of this Trey Lance thing is that a lot of guys know that if Lance can be a top QB, it´s pretty much game over for the rest of the NFL. You give something resembling Josh Allen at the QB position to Kyle Shanahan, it´s a receipe for disaster for everybody else in NFL.
I rarely saw a QB as scrutinized as Lance. I mean Trevor Lawrence seems to barely exist these days.
Good on Kyle to have drafted Trey and not a really good QB with a low ceiling like Mac Jones.
As for Trey, we just have to wait next season and we will finally have an answer. Everything else doesn´t really matter.
Of course if someone like Jay Glazer says he sucks, well it´s not a good news, but actually Glazer said the opposite, so it´s fine so far.

Unless one of Trey's coaches make a public statement regarding Trey's progress, it goes in one ear and right out the other.

As I said with the Deebo trade request that people didn't take serious because of who was reporting it. Where there's smoke there's usually fire.
