I don't even think he has a source. Scags was in Philly for a yr well past his time "reporting" on the eagles. At that pt he was doing stuff for the giants.

I listen to Rich on a pod not that long ago (a draft pod can't remember which one) and he had nothing bad at all to say about Lance. He talked about Josh Allen and being a fan of that style of play all the same. His biggest thing on a QB is being able to stand in the pocket and make a throw knowing you're gonna get hit. Honestly I think all the stuff about him not liking Lance is made up.

He was basically an intern who was an errand boy. There is a reason he hasn't been with an NFL team in decades.

His takes are absurd and out there. He thinks Tebow is a legit NFL QB. That should tell you all you need to know. At one point he was trashing Trey without even watching the Houston tape.

He's a hack who is using his former glory to try to legitimize his stupid opinions but fact is he hasn't done s**t in years and is clearly no more qualified than fans who know this sport well.

IMO here are the things that make QBs successful in the NFL

Talent
Coaching
Supporting cast
Determination and work ethic
Intelligence

By all accounts Trey has all of those so he's definitely setup for success and if he puts in the effort the rest should fall into place.

Another big thing which really cannot be foreseen until the player is actually out there is how does he deal with the lows of the game. Getting hit often, if the team isn't as great as maybe he had before but not much we can do about these things until he's in those situations and ideally you don't want to see him in that situation.

In his short sample size he did show that adversity wasn't something that causes him to shell up and cry but it was a short sample size.

Overall I think we're trending in a really good direction and I think we have the coaches and talent to help Trey along the way.

So I read up a little on this and it's even funnier. Even after Tebow showed the league how s**tty of a QB he was, this Kelly guy still endorsed Tebow and wanted to make Tebow the first ever QB/assistant GM, in a dual role. wat.
