This is what I hated about Cowherd's comments about Trey's completion %. He obviously didn't watch the games and is just going off numbers. Trey bad a lot of passes dropped. Lot can be said about the balls receivers are used to catching. Another benefit to him being full time starter will be chemistry.

LMFAO! This has got to be the most ironic s**t Ive seen here in a while. You would think a JG stan wouldnt try to use this to slander another QB considering you can say this exact phrase about almost the entirety of JGs season last year. Only different is JG wouldnt be throwing a downfield prayer because he doesnt do that. It would have said something like: They scored 3 points well into the 3rd when he handed it off to Deebo and Deebo made a miracle off of nothing. Then he had 1 play to deebo. There's a rookie minicamp next weekend, but the first OTA with vets isn't until May 23-24. Only one of those days is open to reporters though.

I'd rather none are open to reporters. Pretty tired of them at this point. Lombardo just made a name for himself off this garbage "reporting".

I would guess that's the plan, I hope it is anyway. I think we are going to run more inside zone with Trey in there too. I believe that's why they drafted Sermon last year, and Price this year. Sermon was pretty good in the inside zone at OSU, we should see if he's any good if we do implement the inside zone and zone-read. I think some folks are overestimating Trey's running ability though. I think he's more just a mobile qb more than a running qb.

I don't think anyone really knows if Trey is the guy but we saw Jimmy G isn't. Especially in big games.

And don't give me the record, where a team of 53 players got to, they won in spite of his play not because of his play.

That's not to say he has always been bad (he was incredible in that Saints game put the team on his back completely) or that he isn't a great leader and good dude (he is, amazingly so, he's taken so much and behaved admirably) but how often did you watch games between fingers over your eyes ?

He must've missed the 6 or 7 games that Jimmy started where we only scored 7 points or less in one half.
