The media just wants to continue to s**t on Trey, until he proves them all wrong.

Look I'm a big fan of Trey and was jumping for joy when we drafted him, I just wish they would have left his mechanics alone. All of the "project" talk was stupid, and only said because he was coming from a small school. He was a polished QB. NOW he looks like a project, and Shanahan is running him like he's Cam Newton, which is a disservice to his development as a passer. Hopefully this season looks very different than his games/reps last season.
Overstating 1 game due to the small sample size perhaps?

It was and always has been hilarious to me how the media seriously thought Jimmy was gonna be back on this team let alone be the starter again. Having Trey sit and learn for a year and take over the next has always been the plan. You don't trade the amount they did to take a qb 3rd overall and have him sit 2 years straight

We won't find out how Trey really is until 2-3 years from now.

Yeah, but he can show a lot his first year, too.

I'm sure the Chiefs fans were like… "ok, Mahomes had 5000 yds 50 TDs in first year starting but I need to see more."

So what are the expectations for Trey? Personally I think he needs to come out and take the bull by the horns. Of course he has a huge learning curve and will make mistakes but I still feel he should be expected to and will be successful and lead the team to a winning record.

I think he's going to tear it up.

He played in more than one game, plus preseason, plus I saw it in person, plus all of the mini camp highlights.

He just has to not do too much. Stay within himself and let the talent shine.

Yeah its no time to be a gun slinger all game. Just when we need it. I just hope he doesn't run too much and is a pocket passer.

Trey is not the answer. But than again I said Reuben Foster was a terrible pick for us and got all types of hate for saying that, yet I was right, wouldn't expect anything different now.
Nekro, please!
