When you're not even 2:1 pass to rush as a QB are you really pass 1st?

I think what he means is that Lance scrambles to throw. Most of his runs are by design. I would say Kaepernick was a player who scrambled to run more often than Lance will.

Except last season when Shanny used him as a battering ram.

Wasn't much different in college for him (not factoring the competition obviously)

Super run heavy offense. What were the most pass attempts in a game he had... 18?

It's hard to blame Shanny for running him that way in that game, especially considering what the passing looked like. We didn't need very much to win, and unfortunately didn't get it.

Can't wait for this offense!!!
It just warms my heart that we can actually drop back on 3rd and 6 and throw a yard timing route to the outside for a 1st down.
Did Burford start at RG again?

I think so b/c Brunskill was the starting C. I think Moore will take over at RG once MM is back. but burford is getting good reps and might keep the job if Brunskill is center

Would Moore start or be first off the bench for most O-line spots?

Throwing motion and mechanics are overrated imo. If you can throw the ball you can throw the ball

This is correct

Disagree, I think to a certain extent you can work with a players natural movement, but good mechanics does improve accuracy and power. I saw Bernie Kosar play with that side arm throw, (he seemed to be literally throwing it from his hip) and the 49ers destroyed him because his mechanics were terrible. I think, over time, because Trey is so diligent - those mechanics will continue to improve next year and the year after and so on. He is still very raw in a lot of ways.

Josh Rosen had great mechanics. He said mechanics are overrated not that they don't help.

Well between knowing the snap count and having great mechanics - having great mechanics is overrated versus knowing the snap count.

Mayo!!!

Mr. Final Countdown!

Love ya, Giedi.

Same my friend - good seeing your post in the dead of night!

Trey's arm is definitely in the upper tier. That is going to make a lot of difference in close games and when Trey has to come from behind at the end of games.

And to put teams away late in the 3rd qrtr. when we're up by 2 scores.
Just read the Sudfield article and I know no one wants him on the field but it is encouraging if he could be a good second qb coach for trey

Finally got to put together the Lance video I've been wanting to for a while. Only took a 2nd bout with COVID.....
