Regardless of that argument this would be a way more acceptable gamble if we were rebuilding, like the Bills were as you suggested.

It's easy to say that now because of who Josh turned out to be. But that wasn't the thinking his rookie year. You didn't hear people saying "Josh will be ok because he is just so talented"

If people thought Josh Allen would turn out this good he would have been drafted 1st overall. Or other teams would have traded up to grab him.

It's no coincidence that those in this thread that are trying to make a big deal out of these last 2 TC practices are the same ones that have obsessively defended Jimmy, didn't want him replaced, and have never been able to accept that he's just not that good.

Lmao

another one that cant move on from Jimmy.

Its tough to not talk about him when your whole WZ personality has been built around him.

Also, not going to make the same mistakes other have made responding to your ridiculous takes. Mr. "Sudfeld is better than Jimmy"

Mods you heard the man.. let's lock the TL thread for 4 years.. no comments until then

But how will some be able to talk Jimmy?

I guess, there's always the Kyle, OL, LB, CB, Special teams threads for that

Just go back and look at Josh Allen's plays at Wyoming, or during his first couple of seasons with the Bills when he was developing. He is so much more of a gifted thrower IMO, I really don't even think it's that close.

I'm starting to sound like a huge Trey hater and I'm honestly not. I just think it's going to take him a few years, if he ever gets it, and that's not great timing for our current situation. It's not his fault though. You won't see me crushing him when he doesn't hit the ground running. Don't even understand how anybody would expect it. Hope for it, sure.

1) that Bills team is far different than this 9er team. Expectations are different.

2) Bills didn't use 3 first and 3rd to get Allen and get over the hump.

3) bills fans were definitely ready to crucify Allen after his rookie season, on a way lesser team than this niners team, that didn't have Deebo, Aiyuk, Juice, and Kittle

You should start rooting for this team again rather than hoping Trey fails just because your feelings were hurt when he was drafted to replace Jimmy.

I wasn't a big Trey fan. Just like I wasn't a big Josh fan. The similarities coming out is very similar.

1st years in the league albeit small sample size for Trey, I'd say Josh was further along as a runner. Where I'd say Trey is further along as a passer.

Yes, Josh throws harder and such but his accuracy was waaaaay more atrocious than Trey's.

You literally do the same exact thing. Youre just on the opposite end. Doesnt make you any better.
Why are posts like #38826 allowed here? It's not just that they add nothing to the discussion; they actively detract from the discussion and the forum as a whole.

There are lots of examples, but that one is just piling garbage on top of more garbage. Why?

Quite the projection there. Last season was hard for you. I remember you not being jubilant until we lost to the Rams in the NFCCG. Sad and pathetic.

I will always greatful for every win, unlike some of our "fans". That's why my bar will not be lowered this season. Lance will rise to the occasion. Hopefully, "fans" like yourself can get behind this team once again.

lol another one.

Props for not not bringing up Jimmy in that post. Albeit a short post so would have been hard to squeeze it in.

Because actual QB discussion is not allowed. It's all about mud slinging with some and it garners pages, do its allowed.

But you just brought up Jimmy. Now I just brought up Jimmy.

Anyone that is critical or doubting of Trey or the offense as a whole after just 2 unpadded TC practices in July has an agenda, plain and simple.

Definitely, respectfully, disagree with your comparison of their throwing, but it's honestly a pointless argument anyway.

Comparison is the thief of joy as some say, lol.
