That's if the team stats relatively healthy obviously. Trey doesn't have to be hero, just be smart. I have full faith he'll be fine.

That's how I view it. This team is too stacked not to at least make the playoffs. I'm sure the team is thinking the same.

It sure comes across that way. After all the talking they did last season. Now we find out if what they were right. For our sake (niner fans) I certainly hope so.
Practice shmactice

Wake me up when the season starts. That's when we can start really taking notes. If you told me trey threw 15 for 15 in practice today, I'd say who gives a s**t. If youbtold me trey threw 5 interceptions today, I'd say who gives a s**t. That's what practice is for.

This. Just get out healthy and get the season started.
We talkin bout….practice
The children crying about practice in TC are the same kids who were crying about int's last TC from GQ who took us to the NFCCG. Call me when TC is over and the reps actually mean something.

Trey put up way better practice stats than Jimmy last TC yet Jimmy still got the starting job. Its like coaches know what they're evaluating and fans have no clue lol
Some of the "weirdness" with evaluations as Mahomes sees it...

Patrick Mahomes has taken notice of the "weird" criticisms that he and other Black quarterbacks in the NFL have received lately.

Though he didn't want to say that Black quarterbacks are evaluated differently than their white counterparts, Mahomes thinks the comments that he, Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray have gotten this week are strange.

"Obviously, the Black quarterback has had to battle to be in this position that we are to have this many guys in the league playing," Mahomes said Friday, KSHB's Aaron Ladd. "I think every day, we're proving that we should have been playing the whole time. We've got guys that can think just as well as they can use their athleticism.

"It's always weird when you see guys like me, Lamar [Jackson], Kyler [Murray] kind of get that on them when other guys don't. But at the same time we're going out there to prove ourselves every day to show we can be some of the best quarterbacks in the league."

They were protecting their expensive young commodity. Whether Jimmy getting the job or not was the right thing can always be debated.

False. Horribly.

If this conversation happens to move forward, do it in the Jimmy thread.

Oh no discussion needed with this stuff. Simply giving quick edits to falsehoods as always. Trey's the man now.

Giving the former QB the start last year was arguably a disaster. We didn't win the Super Bowl, we got nothing back for him in a trade and likely never will, and now this season will likely be spent entirely as a developmental season for Trey rather than giving him a chance to build on his rookie year.

Cry me a river
So oppressed
Mahomes contract $450 mil over 10 years
Kyler Murray $230 mil over 5 years
Deshawn Watson $230 mil over 5 years

Highest paid QB's in NFL (only Aaron Rogers makes more)

Who mentioned oppression?

This is exactly the kind of BS that lets racists exist. Mahomes is calling out something he sees and feels. He's not whining at all, yet it still garners this kind of ridiculous response.
