Like pretending Mac Jones played well in the playoffs? It's possible.

Mac Jones was under a lot of pressure when he dropped back to pass in that post season game. He had a 96.8 passer rating while under pressure. He did throw 2 int's with a clean pocket though.

Yeah, pressing probably. Probably not enough to win the game either way. It was that defense that got absolutely torched though. I saw their defense starting to get exposed in the 4Q of that year...can't remember who exposed their weakness (dragging receivers across the field) but the wheels fell off big time.

I think we had one to J.Ward, Warner & Hufanga in the middle of the field where the QB's just never saw them? I would imagine most were in that 10-19 yard range. I don't know how many of these were on Trey though. 1? 2?

I think Shanahan said yesterday that the Hufanga one was a miscommunication interception.

God damn, check out Nick's burst on the second rep. He closed on Trey in a hurry.

that counted as a sack right?

Counted by who? There are no official stats for training camp practices. They didn't blow the play dead.

I'm rooting for him but damn everyone is bending over backwards to pump up the good and brush off the bad.

not a good start to the most pro nfl offense ready QB we were told.

Under no circumstance was anyone saying this. Does lying to strangers make you feel good?

I thought he was coming from the most pro style offense in college, compared to the other first rounders.
trey looks like he has more of a sidearm throw now

Given there's only a handful of QB's in college who run one, technically that's true. But given the low volume of total snaps and the fact that he ran out of many of those, he was still very raw (no matter the system).

And then there's Kyle's pro-style system. LOL
