Like I said, players are ready to win now. Not a throw away year. LFG!! Bring that Lombardi Lance!
Samson Ebukam says that the entire 49ers locker room is "on edge in a good way" because of its desire to get to the Super Bowl.

"That's the goal. We've already discussed it."
...and Lance is the best QB on the team for that.
Yep. So let's get it. No excuses.
What do you mean...no excuses?
B2B has been on a crusade all offseason long to get people to say that there are no excuses for our team not making the playoffs, and bringing that all back to our QB change.
I even said its entirely possible that we could have an upgrade at QB and be a worse team do to other circumstances, but that still wasnt enough for him.
My believe is that this team is stacked and ready to win now. You don't agree? Do you find that far fetched? Do you truly believe that this team is worse than last year? Maybe OL? But I think we've upgraded secondary and special teams.
This team is mostly the same, with an upgrade at the most important position. So why should expectations drop?
I never said expectations should drop. I just said that our team could meet expectations, exceed them, or even fail to reach them and its possible that these results could be independent of the QB. You have repeatedly tried to make team expectations and our ability to meet them or not to be entirely about the QB, which it is not.
My expectation is that this is easily a playoff team too. But if we dont meet that expectation, its logical to say there could be many reasons why that was the case....independent of the QB.

Well of course injuries could happen. But, unless that happens, I don't see why my expectations should lower. And yeah expectations could fail to be reached due to inexperienced QB, that's always a possibility, even with a team that's proven capable of dragging its QB to a SB and NFCCG.

That's why we drafted a mobile QB to compensate for that lol

Line play is often up to the QB. I saw JG eat a lot of bad sacks and not really know what he's doing off schedule. TL if we see him killing teams off schedule by extending the play, and keeping the eyes down field.. that's how we will know we got a good one..

No. We drafted a QB to be better than the subpar one we had. Not simply to run around and be mobile.

Yet we have an equally talented team and people are already making excuses. I think Trey can do what "guy" did and that we will be a really good team but it seems like people are already making excuses for Trey if he doesn't perform. It seems like a lack of confidence to me.

Yes, we drafted a QB in hopes that it would be better than the previous one, and mobility was one of the reasons. They wanted a QB that can compensate for when OL collapses.

BRUH! He will be given more benefit of the doubt than any QB to ever lace em up!.
Sit back and watch winning become a QB stat again.

Wait wait wait....just noticed something.
....with such high "expectations" you supposedly have,...why does another thread have your prediction for this season being 10-7??
Which version of what you supposedly think is the truth?

We have one guy who was prev banned, then comes back with a pro Trey username, but constantly bashes him.
Then another guy who cares more about the Pats and Mac Jones.

Why do you care more about the Pats and Mac Jones? You seem to bring him up quite a bit. If I recall correctly he has his own thread you can go post in.
