I need to see him settle down as the season progresses. Less and less dropbacks where he's frantic and panicked when it's not necessary. If he's a different QB week 1 compared to week 17, that's what I want to see. His end of season numbers aren't as important as how comfortable he looks operating the offense. Make those on rhythm throws when they are there to be had. Kyle dials up the "layups", make those layups.

You are in for some disappointment if you think that Kyle is going to suddenly be calling more passing plays. He might call different plays, but they are still going to be a running team.

This! It's crazy to think that IMO, in order for him to reach the potential that most think he can, he has to hit the layups consistently. He has to be good at what JG was good at.

If he can do that along with the extra stuff he's naturally going to bring then look out!

My issue is I just don't believe he'll consistently hit them layups.

It'd be much more worthwhile and relaxing to simply believe that the HC knows what to do with his young pupil a little better than you do.

Well I guess all the defensive coordinators out there can now relax. Kyle's such a stand-up guy when it comes to how fairly he treats his opponents.
