If we're talking numbers, then it's more about the efficiency numbers. If he throws for 3800 but is doing it with a 7.0 yards per attempt, that's not very good - especially with the weapons Lance has. More than numbers though, it's about how he looks doing it. The eye test will tell us more than any numbers.
Yessir and he was making Pat McAfee's jaw drop with the eye test

This bothers me. Imagine the Bills or the Chiefs and they keep that super sports car in the barn, and run all day with CEH or Devin Singletary. You don't see them doing that.. cuz that would be stupid. I get it we like to run but let's be balanced. You may have some 40+ run games but let's have some 40+ pass games too.

I need to see him settle down as the season progresses. Less and less dropbacks where he's frantic and panicked when it's not necessary. If he's a different QB week 1 compared to week 17, that's what I want to see. His end of season numbers aren't as important as how comfortable he looks operating the offense. Make those on rhythm throws when they are there to be had. Kyle dials up the "layups", make those layups.

Call me optimistic. I see 4000 yards, 30td, 10int, 500yards rushing and 5 tds. 12-5 w/l
Chris Biderman seems to think he's only going to get 20, 25 max passing attempts a game. Hmmm.

This. Kyle just said in the NFLN clip the offense is exactly the same. And there's no plans to change it. In fact he said it was exactly the same with RGIII too with just adding an RPO element to it. He said he'll of course call plays that lean towards individual QB strengths but the philosophy, team building structure and playbook will remain constant.
I know many were hoping for a more pass centric offense. Sorry. But those explosives will come...set up by the run centric foundation this offense was built on.

Haha. That was on schedule. Note all the OL and chip block moving with Montana.
We might see some of that this year with a rolling pocket.
