This. Kyle just said in the NFLN clip the offense is exactly the same. And there's no plans to change it. In fact he said it was exactly the same with RGIII too with just adding an RPO element to it. He said he'll of course call plays that lean towards individual QB strengths but the philosophy, team building structure and playbook will remain constant.

I know many were hoping for a more pass centric offense. Sorry. But those explosives will come...set up by the run centric foundation this offense was built on.

Totally agree. It would be foolish for the 49ers to abandon their identity. The team really took off last year when they started running more (as a means to get Deebo the ball). Trent Williams is league's best run blocker, Kittle among the best run blocking TE's, etc.

On the other hand, if Trey Lance can light it up like Mahomes then heck yeah. Until then.....

It also triggers a few on here that Trey does throw some wobblers. That is why they keep mentioning it. Those folks never mention the times he does throw a tight spiral though.
