I have to wonder that if Lance ends up sucking, what's his leash timeline before everyone treats him like Garoppolo? I'm guessing a season and a half.

If he turns out to be absolute garbage, it won't even take that long. If he shows progress over this coming season and continues to get better the following season, he'll be given more than a season and a half.

If he ends up sucking.. more like what's the leash timeline for KS and JL at that point..

that leash would not exist
The offseason sports media is back with a new story about how "the 49ers have a level of uncertainty about Lance". Then just stating in the article that some execs aren't sure how well he will do this year while he learns on the field.

I despise sports media so much. Bunch of hack liars trying to incite fans.

Bro I was trying to remember who it was I made that bet with. Yes it's still on.

Depends on how soon he single-handedly costs us a Super Bowl. That's when people started to get fed up with the former QB. It didn't help that he followed it up with another season of injuries and mediocre play.

The Jimmy homers will be relentless off the bat. Some will give him a season and a half. I will give him 2 seasons...so by year 3 he will either be ready to be a star or its time to look for his eventual replacement.

And we'll have completely wasted his rookie contract window.

At least you referenced a valid source instead of some stupid youtube video or bogus twitter account.

The guy in the video is a QB coach and owns Performance Labs which uses motion capture to help athletes with their running and throwing mechanics. Not saying it's the "be all, end all" but there might just be something to it. Overall my point was that these side arm mechanics put additional pressure on the elbow joint, rather than the shoulder which is much stronger. So it's not surprising that Trey had arm fatigue, and now it's looking like Stafford may need surgery. But maybe it's all just a coincidence...

Here's the deal.. BA is cooking dbs right now.. Kittle wins every time he runs routes.. Deebo will be Deebo at the start of the season.. TL will be roasting Ds everyone will be open.
