He looks good. .Stayed in the pocket well, scrambled beautifully. Rewatched the long one a zillion times.

I want to see more of the methodical short and intermediate stuff to show his progress with those.

I agree with you on wanting to see the progress on those. Reports out of camp were that he's Been inconsistent regarding the short ones.

Expectations are high for him from me. I can't wait to see more of him.

Same here. And they're not going to show anything in preseason but what they want other teams to have on tape.

Trey is a keeper.
TREY ERA YAY! Like I said, the only team in the way to the SB is the Lambs, just like last year..

If Cooper Kupp sucks this year or Stafford does or both plays lesser than they did last year, Definitely.

9ers have both imporve on offense and defense + depth and young talent so GAME OVER for the Lambs.. TRIAL BY FIRE!!!!

we definitely got better and have way more depth this year and i doubt Kupp does that twice in a row just like i doubt Deebo will as well but the x factor is Lance. If Lance doesnt do rookie QB things, we will steamroll the nfl this year but I think hes going to cost us a handful of games til the light turns on and stays on. that said, i still think we have to be the favorites to represent the NFC this year.

Trey Lance had a good game. I thought he played the right way. He stayed in the pocket but if the pressure was too strong he scrambled.
And what I loved with this young QB is that you can see that when he scrambles he wants to pass first then run. On his 7 yards run he started to scramble but still looked to pass before running. I ´m really happy that he slided too at the end of his run. That´s important.
Obviously his TD with Danny Gray was great, on third down also.
That´s just a preseason game but after his really good Texans game, it´s good to see he keeps improving.

I'm old enough to remember when throwing deep balls to wide open receivers was used as a negative.
He slide on purpose even though it's not his nature as he stated, smart TREY, SMART QB ALWAYS WINS!!!!

Brady always slides, even try to kick the tackling defender LOL, why Brady is still playing

TREY ERA 2022 OFF TO A GOOD SMART START!!!!

Indeed! Seeing him slide is a very good sign. I would go as far as to say that it shows a little more maturity also. Take what the defense gives you on 2nd and 8 and live to play another down.

Remember Jimmy G that one year getting injured?
Smh lmao... Jimmy can't even run, can you at least FING SLIDE when you tried? LOL I mean didn't you at least learn that from Brady?

Too many limitations why 9ers went ALL IN ON TREY.
And F Mac Jones, he doesn't have legs like TREY LOL.

I'd be fine if Trey plays till he's 47.🤩
Looked great overall

The only thing i think he needs to work on that has was an issue in college, TC and that game is ball placement on timing based throws

The thing i loved when we drafted him and he showed that once again is despite his athleticism and speed he will always look to throw first that is so rare and usually needs to be taught with QBs like him
Nothing wrong with being extremely excited as there's plenty to be excited about but personally as I said earlier expectations need to be tempered. There's a lot more to QBing than the deep ball though it's very very nice added element. As a poster stated above/earlier he's also going to need to move the chains and create long drives. Get the running game involved.

Before I get creamed I'm not saying that he can't or that he could've done much better than he did yesterday, I'm just personally keeping my expectations not too high definitely not low. He still has a lot to learn. And yes I think he will learn it.

This right here. If he gets that in check look out.

One play Trey stikes again. Thought he looked just OK last night. Which is all this team needs.

Was happy with what I saw last night.
