He's handling that gig appropriately if true.

Haha true
one more thing people keep mentioning. They say that Jimmy G's release masked this OL's s**tty ass play. And I 100% agree with that. But thats also not supposed to be a good thing. Yes, he had a quick release, almost like a flicker. But this often times led him developing terrible footwork habits. And he never developed a proper delivery, which is why he threw some weird balls sometimes.

Well maybe after it finally dawns on this team that the OL is s**t, they'll finally spend some money on a top dollar offensive linemen that can PP. Lance is gonna actually need this.

They will have to make the switch to Jimmy G. They aren't going anywhere with Trey Lance.

When propaganda meets reality.

Just watched this. Holy s**t Martz is drunk 😂

He seems like he is mixing up what QB he is talking about in the 1st half of the video?

just sounds like an old man yelling at the clouds. I don't even know who the f**k he was talking about in the first 5 minutes. I am guessing it was Trey, but he kept mentioning the Bears.

Exactly. Never even said "Trey Lance." It did seem like he was talking about Fields at first, maybe he got them confused. He was definitely drunk though, slurring his words. What a jackass. Imagine posting that in here as "evidence." What a f**king clown show our fan base is.

He's very obviously talking about Lance. They even have the Lance picture up when he's talking about it. He speaks uncomfortable truth.

Watch it again. Who paid a lot to move up for the QB? The Bears or the 49ers? Why are they showing pictures of Fields while he is talking about Trey? This video is a cluster and Martz is either drunk or having a stroke lmao

49ers Fans Will Call For Jimmy Garoppolo if Trey Lance Remains This Bad

There is no way either of those idiots watched the game. They're looking at stat lines and a couple of replays of missed plays to make their "assessment." Which is pretty much what most of the Trey haters are doing. Pathetic.

Which part did you disagree with? I didn't agree with captain part but other than that it was pretty fair. They don't come across as hating Lance.

I disagree with everything they said. They emphasized his completion percentage and passer rating in a monsoon game with multiple penalties, a Deebo fumble, and Jennings giving away a sure touchdown. They also didn't mention Trey converting 8/17 third downs which is excellent, either by him passing or running himself. They also didn't mention that half of his pass attempts were towards the end of the game when the rain REALLY started coming down hard. They also didn't mention that the Bears were able to pressure him on 50% of his attempts without blitzing ONCE. Rushed 4 guys, covered with 7, in a monsoon. No QB would have done well dealing with all of that.

Trey is going to be a star. If you can't see that after Sunday then I don't know what the f**k you're watching.

Edit: Not personal to you, just tired of reading all of this hateful b******t from these biased haters piling on after a tough loss. It's sickening.

It was not a good game by lance. He's admitted it himself. It's not the end all be all. It's only the start of the season though. It's not anyone hating or being anti lance, it just is what it is right now. We don't need to suger coat it. He'll have a chance, in a good environment at home, vs the hated Seahawks to show us something better. We'll all be rooting for him to bring that much needed dub.

He started JT O'Sullivan over Alex Smith and Shaun Hill. That's your smoking gun? 🤣

I guess you missed that he had a broken thumb vs the Colts. Jimmy G wins this game vs the Bears. 1 - 0.

And this is the best conclusion to draw from that game. I won't go as far as some and say that Kyle undervalues this position group, since we have the best in the league playing there, but I'm starting to believe we need a new OL coach that can at least get more out of the current players than Mr Coke video.

Trey is going to be a star based on what? LOL. He hasn't earned that yet.

It was absolutely a good game. Doesn't always show up on the stat sheet. And Trey taking the blame shows a high level of maturity. His teammates will love him for that because they know they s**t the bed and did him zero favors.

A good game. That doesn't show up in the game, on the film or in the stat sheet.

OK.

I gotta get this off my mind. He played a bad game. But I can't help but wonder the if's such as if Deebo doesn't drop the ball and he gets a TD. If we had kittle there instead of Kroft because kittle is faster. If we had Mitchell back there to sustain some drives.

that's several games in a row that trey has played where receivers drop balls, we do stupid s**t and the kid panics and try's to force things. God I just want some positive momentum for the kid. He's really close to having a good game a few times.

and if Kyle would let the kid pass on 4th and one. The if's kill me more than the loss itself

Cmon kid beat the Seahawks two times this year and I'll be happy. Give me a rams win too. Your goal is to win these 3/17 games

There's so much to unpack here that I don't I'm not even going to attempt to do so. Not gonna lie. lol you bring up some good points though that they didn't touch on.

your one of the better posters on this board. So I'll just agree to disagree on this one.

I agree to disagree, on the bold once again. But do agree with the rest. One thing you can say about the kid is that he seems very mature for his age. I think without a doubt players like him as a person.

More than missing chemistry on a particular passing play getting Kittle back is always a boost to our run game. We need that to be humming if this offense is going to be successful.
