Dallas Cowboys QB Trey Lance Thread

I'm more worried about Kyle's play calling than Treys abilities. Kyle must get Trey out of the pocket on a fair amount of plays. Im not talking about run plays. Just let Trey sprint out and create. Problem is Kyle doesn't seem to be much of a freelance, haha Free Lance, type of guy.

I'll be upset if Kyle demands Trey sit in the pocket and deliver quick hitters over the middle. That's Jimmy Ball and something Trey doesn't excel at yet. Let's play to Treys strengths. Question is, can Kyle call anything other than quick hitters over the middle?

Lastly on the weather, looks like the rain tapers off as the day progresses.

The Chargers have roots in San Diego, and they have a pretty good quarterback. That should be satisfying.

Shouldn't fans give their young rookies a reasonable chance before they jump in their $hit? Trey hasn't had that.

To be fair he is ten times better than the Alex Smith days. I commend him on toning it down a bit.

I actually kind of liked Alex. But he had some deficiencies.
