and you dont hold the play call accountable? stop being a homer and let shanny take responsibility like he should

For calling a zone read, something literally every young QB in the NFL is running regularly?

"Bad Kyle, bad bad bad!"

This. It's literally called by every coach weekly unless you have Matt Ryan or Brady back there. It was just s**t luck. We don't have to find someone to blame for everything bad.

if anything I'll call out the dirty Seattle players

I understand your point and it's not like you're wrong but I still don't like it. Never will.

Russ never got hurt.
Prayers to Lance, hoping for a speedy recovery!
Anyone to blame really it's senile Pete and the seachickens, they clearly planned to knock out and hurt Trey if he ran the ball.

I mean how many 9er players have they destroyed and hurt since evil Pete took over? Navarro Bowman comes to mind, after his knee injury against Seattle, he was never the same again. Hopefully Trey recovers well and takes over the team next year healthy, he's only 22 , he'll heal fast.
so much being made of Lance's running ability but he got injured on a play where he was running upright its not like he had elusive speed and pin point accuracy the kid is raw has some talent but looked not ready for prime time in both of the starts this season bummer about the ankle but now we can move on from the trying to get a 2nd year player up to speed and win some games and get into the playoffs
Injury wise I don't think this is really all that bad for Trey. I don't think he's going to lose any speed or athletic ability from this. I'm sure he will heal perfectly fine. It's time to get behind JG again and hope he can actually do something in the post season for once ( if we make it )

This is a massive disaster for the franchise, no way around it. Jimmy likely won't be back next year regardless of how he plays and Lance is losing a critical year of development. Lance isn't going to develop at all this year with a broken ankle.

I don't think you understand what disaster is. It's not a great situation, but disaster? There are at least 20 fanbases that would trade places with us.

We lost our franchise QB for the season in week 2. It's a disaster.

I really hope you're not trying to defend the way KS has used Lance this season (and last).

I saw no issue with the way he used him today. There was one designed QB run.

He got injured on a play that dozens of other QB's run regularly. Its football, injuries suck but they happen.

More than 1 designed run, and theres no reason he should be risking his franchise draft pick like that. Pure idiocy. We have running backs for going up the gut. If you want him to run, roll him out.

Then why even draft Trey if that is the logic?

If he was killing it in the air, those plays would not even be in the playbook.

Odds are THIS is what NFL effective Trey looks like at this point in his career.

What happen to Trey is an absolute freak injury. We have seen that...what....3 times in the last decade? Doesn't matter if Trey was the RB on that play or the QB... you can't predict or defend against that unless you're going to Tom Brady your QB, in which case you draft a different QB.

Thank you.

Trey did
Man, it's really hard to tell what exactly happened on the play. It almost looks like his ankle got caught underneath him and snapped when 350-pound Bryan Mone landed on top of him.

It would be but Jimmy is a starting level QB.

No a disaster would be having Nick Mullen's and CJ Beathard having to take over. Having Jimmy G who probably at present time is the better QB taking over is manageable.

Damn I was holding out hope he could come back late in the season.

He's a starting level QB. That doesn't stop this from being a disaster. Not just for this year, but for next season as well. Jimmy won't be back here next year for a lot of reasons.
