WAKE UP homie !!

Grrr how dare he calls a zone read, no one ever does that in the NFL! He should be all out "boy" because he was the starter. Shouldn't be any deeper than saying prayers for a speedy recovery and go Jimmy the rest of the year. Not everything bad has to have someone to blame.

You blame the niners for going all in on one guy. This is football. Anything can happen. No unknown is worth that much.

I'm worried about him long term. That injury looked super nasty

So "all-in" that they have a super-bowl caliber roster with a very capable QB at the helm. Trey is the future, today hasn't changed that.

Every young quarterback in the NFL is running that same play. Injuries are always unfortunate but blaming a coach for calling a play that the entire league is using, is next level potato logic.

He wasn't ready anyway guys. Not by a long shot. This is a much better and more functional team with Jimmy G. Just watch game 1 and 2. I hate to see anybody get hurt and I hope he will be OK. But for this year it will help force the hand. Jimmy is the better QB for this year. He will go further. There is simply no doubt about it.

You don't know that he wasn't ready. He played football in a lake last week. You have had a pre-determined viewpoint, and now you can use his injury to parade some self-aggrandizing win around.

Watch the games.

he wasn't ready. but shanny shouldn't be trying to assassinate him either

That's not my issue. My issue is he needed passing reps. And after last week with all those designed runs, you would've thought that having Trey let it loose should have been in the game plan.

If the offense we saw in Arizona, Chicago, and the beginning of the game is our plan for Trey.
We should have never drafted him.

This and this. If this is the plan then I think it was a wasted pick. If that is the plan I say just move on

An ankle shouldn't mess with his throwing mechanics. Perhaps now Kyle won't put him in these situations as often anymore. It now has to be special occasions where Lance has an option to keep. I was fine with running Lance provided he protected himself. He kept lowering this helmet so it's on Kyle to protect him once Lance is back.
Lol kyle man.

This is a massive disaster for the franchise, no way around it. Jimmy likely won't be back next year regardless of how he plays and Lance is losing a critical year of development. Lance isn't going to develop at all this year with a broken ankle. Yet, half the fan base is celebrating this and cheering that our 22 year old QB broke his ankle. They hate him because he had the audacity to get drafted and replace their preferred QB. It's really sad.

correct.

He lost his 1st game. Got hurt for the season in game 2. Jimmy G stepped in and WON. The team looked much better, more functional and more like a real NFL team. Instead of a completely lost team. We weren't going anywhere with Lance this year anyway. Jimmy G gives us the better chance. At least for now. No doubt about it.

I mean he was still gonna get pass reps. He's a threat to run and we want to use it all the same. If you're not gonna use in that fashion at all then yeah they shouldn't have drafted him.

it was a zone read nothing ridiculous. Just horrible luck and probably some shady s**t from the team that always seems to injure our players

Of course it's not Shanahan's fault.

false. very bad answer by shanny. no one is buying that bs.

we need to get additional minds involved to help our super bowl run this season.
Ii don't blame posters for getting on Kyle for this. We were running the ball fine. Didn't need to keep running him up he middle.

I have.

I watched him win a must win game against a tough opponent late last season, and deliver when it counted.

I watched him play in a monsoon last week.

and I watched him go down after attempting three passes this week.

anything I'm missing??????
