Don't waste your time trying to reason with those who refuse to be reasoned with, there's a reason why Rams fans call us the Forty-Whiners, this could have happened on a pass play, a broken play, a rollout, hell it could have happened on the street, at home, when he's out, practicing, etc... No one is to blame for this, injuries happen, he'll be back next year, not like he's a bust or wasted pick IMO, we're not going to go & extend Jimmy, Trey is their guy, he'll get back stronger then ever.

I thought we drafted him for his ability to process as quickly as Mac Jones, but with a stronger arm that could stretch the field and throw outside the numbers. The "athleticism" should have been reserved for pocket elusiveness and scramblings.

But, it's looking like Kyle agreed with you.

I was just looking through my pre game pictures of Trey...minutes later he's done for the year.

I will say the crowd was chanting, "Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy!" so that was pretty dope.

The future of the team comment is what I was rolling my eyes at.

If they make a deep playoff push Jimmy will be the starter next year. Kyle and Lance isn't a good match

Who didn't see that coming?

Go away

He's young and should make a full recovery for the 2023 season. It stinks that he has a year setback, but it's not like he's a 30-something QB on his last chance with a team.

It's not just a year set back. He'll be rehabbing forever and will lose all that development time and momentum. He won't be working on his craft but his rehab. This massively sets him and his future with us back significantly.

It still could work out.

Agreed.

He was already a hesitant runner will this make it worse. It usually takes time for them to get confident and comfortable again

Well 2021 Kyle agreed with you.

Had to login after a year to say I knew this was gonna happen. Shanny a Clown. Firable offense how he has coached trey.

Brutal injury. I admit I am frustrated that we spent three ones and then deployed in such a reckless fashion. You had alarm bells going off all week including the broadcast last week mentioning this is not a good idea to run him into front sevens.. Steve Young said it as well this week on KNBR.

But studies show that it's unlikely to happen to mobile QBs. So much for those studies

In other words Trey doesn't have the agility and elusiveness like Lamar.

Yup. Back to square 1. He will be learning how to walk again. Not footwork as a qb

People are getting overly dramatic here. Tua had basically his entire leg destroyed and he managed to come back from it. Prescott broke his ankle and came back to play well, Burrow and other QB's have tore their ACLs. Guys have had worse injuries and have come back just fine. No reason for all this negativity.

But without their negativity they wouldn't know what to do with themselves. It's all they have!!!

Yup what the heck went wrong with 2022 KS. What are we doing here?

It was hard to watch him play. Like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I don't blame TL for running what was called. I thought we were getting a FQB not a power back. Now we burned three ones and we have absolutely bleep all to show for it.

Shocker... Nobody could have predicted this.

I figured he'd make it to game 3 or 4 before he was out for the year.

I wish him well and hope he recovers.

Purely shanahan to blame for this one.

Those must be really good mind altering drugs

You do realize this could have happened on any play, a sack, a rollout, a broken play, he could have injured himself at home, on the practice field, when he's out and about, this isn't a fireable offense, ridiculous, people wanted this element, athletic QB, now we want Shanny gone? WTF? He'll be back(both) next year, this is like Dak's injury, if Dak can come back, so can Trey, his future isn't over, he can still be the franchise QB, people underestimate how far we've come with injuries, medicine, Bosa looks stronger than ever and he tore his ACL, to write Trey off is ridiculous.
Gonna be a long shot for this guy to ever reach the level we hoped for. In year three the guy is going to basically be a rookie still with very little overall qb experience. Instead of progressing to an above average to top 10 we hoped for. Just sucks for Trey and the team in general.
