Durability and availabilit6 is an issue already.
That concerns me along with worries about long term mobility issues from this injury.
Because he is young, I think he will be fine. I hope Shanahan builds in other plays that can get us yards and manageable down and distances for Trey next year. These runs gain 1 to 6 or so yards. A dump off to Juice could accomplish the same goal.

Its also pretty disgusting to watch people celebrating his injury on here, Facebook, twitter. I understand that you are loyal to Jimmy and think Trey is a bust but to celebrate a 22 year olds season ending injury is pretty f**ked up. He seems like a good guy and I think people forget these are people not little pawns. I don't remember anyone celebrating when Jimmy tore his ACL or got injured in 2020.
Since this fanbase has become so toxic since the 2021 draft. It is just as toxic as the current political climate. You pick a side and root for other side to fail and you for some reason hate the other side with a passion. You don't have to hate Trey to support Jimmy and you don't have to hate Jimmy to support Trey. Celebrating his injury is as disgusting as rooting for Jimmy's injury last year.
Toxic since 2021? Come and let me tell you the tale of Alex Smith of the story of Colin Kaepernick.
Fanbase has always been on toxic. Before I joined this board I was on another board for 16 years with 50k posts. I can say this fanbase has become extra toxic about Jimmy vs Trey. Maybe it is the rise of social media so I didn't see it on twitter, Instagram or Facebook in 2012. Since older people didn't have social media yet.
Sadly this is true. Irritating to have to hear the they gave up too much takes for another year. No one knows yet and I'm sorry, 3 games ain't enough to judge. Even Ryan Leaf was 2-1 after 3 games. We won't have a clue about Trey till we see about half a season, a full season, and two seasons worth of starts.
Half a season for him to hit his stride and figure out who we are with him at the helm, a year for him to flash a few times and show why he went number 3 overall, and the second year to show some year to year progress. Many people clearly don't want that, but I think the team is good enough now to endure the growing pains and will be even better next year, provided they address a couple holes on offense (RT, C, backup TE) and continue adding talent to the secondary.
