Jimmy might be gone and Trey will be a massive question-mark. No offense to Brock Purdy, of course.

Trade for Cousins!

This. Kyle is trying to turn a mobile QB into Lamar Jackson. Lance is a passer who can scramble to pick up 1st downs. You don't see the Cowboys using Dak as a power back. Trey and Dak are around the same tier of mobile QBs.

Bro he was rated as the least accurate QB to be drafted so high since.....(can't remember when) but #2 on the list wasn't even close. But feel free to continue to look at the box scores and highlights to form your own opinion.

No one complain when Trey lead the team in rushing yards in Chicago when Mitchell went down in a monsoon.

What about Lamar Jackson yesterday leading his team with 119 yds in rushing in 9 rushes?

Injuries happens in a violent sport like football. Be glad they brought back Jimmy just for this scenario for a SB roster to have a chance for another SB run.

The blame should be on the Seachickens and evil Pete, cursed that toxic POS to hell where he belongs and wish his team shameful losing seasons and he's forced to retire and be forgotten.

We'll more likely than not get plenty of Brock Purdy starts this year to evaluate his quality as backup.

I think we will draft a QB in the 1st in 2024. Quinn Ewers maybe? Give up another 3 1st to move up? . QB purgatory since 99
It's interesting that when Trey gets hurt it's the HC' s fault. When Jimmy gets hurt it's his own fault for not doing the correct thing, like sliding, running out of bounds and anything that that would avoid a direct hit. It's the coaches fault for not teaching Trey how to take a hit, slide, or run out of bounds. He gets a free pass because he's only in his second year in the NFL.

Well obviously they are not getting Lamar Jackson since he wants a fully guaranteed contract. Good luck convincing Moneyball Paraag.

Maybe they will give Purdy a shot. I dunno. Stroud and Bryce Young are obviously out of reach. They might have to look into Arch Manning down the line

And? Still lead the team in rushing yards. Who else is going to pick up the slack? It's his forte to run. He can't pass every down, if he could he would, I'm sure.

And Trey actually stays in the pocket and passes the ball when the play calls for it in the limited amount of games he has played for the 9ers.

Regardless it doesn't even matter anymore at this point lol..

Once Trey is healthy, he really needs to learn to slide and protect himself in every way if he runs in the open or scrambles, that's on him.

So inaccurate he broke records for passing efficiency. That's impressive.

Dak came out of college a much more polished passer with mind you nearly 3 years of starting experience before getting drafted.

Yes he is.. but they aren't used the same way. For me it isn't about the injury. Its about the plan. Using your QB as a power back isn't a long term success. Nothing wrong with running the QB a few times a game. Even if he didn't get hurt I would question the plan

Really? Nobody complained? Lance got the snot knocked out of him that game. I questioned his ability to be healthy enough to play game two after taking some brutal hits and having linebackers land on him violently.

The thing is in your guys eyes, Shanny can do no wrong. Just like Jimmy, the team was QB starved, Jimmy was obviously better but not good enough so it is taboo to think of anyone else throwing the hall here.

Same with Shanahan, he isn't the only coach that could successfully coach this team. He is one who had success after the likes of Singletary and Tomsula so of course he is championed here.

Without context nothing is clear. Shanahan is a great X's and O's guy and great at scheming guys open but he's too arrogant to take advice and has zero accountability. That is a bad combo.
